Nawao! lagosians should be genuinely worried. This ugly trend is scary.
Ambode should be more pragmatic in dealing with this issue.

It's high time stringent laws are put in place to curb their activities during the day n not jx given them hours of movement.

God bless Fashola! Who had the guts to flout any if his directives? Ambode cheapened himself and his administration by wasting time discrediting Fashola instead of hitting the ground running, he was busy 'opening' Fasholas nyansh. Ode, as if he will be leaving with clean hands.

Ok, that's it. Looks like there's no stopping these homicidal maniacs.

I think this accident happened some days after the one in Ojuelegba. It is not happen recently. I see no reason for this post as it seems more as an attempt to spark outrage in Lagos.

Nigeria is not lacking enabling laws, we just lack courage plus the will to enforce laws and sustain enforcement

This is some bull!!! The government needs to follow their dictates with actions since drivers are still flouting the rule!

Will be difficult to totally eradicate them from them from the system. what will happen to Dangote trucks or well placed men in the society.

Unknown said...

http://thejuixreviews.blogspot.com.ng/ I do not know if there's a body in Nigeria responsible for making sure these drivers adhered strictly to safety measures while transporting these goods/containers, but I think something should be done to curb this. If the road was bad, we'll blame it on the road; but from the pictures, it's not the road, it's the fact that proper safety measures were not taken.

Nigeria is a lawless country. And what is the new governor doing about this???!!!

I thought the law enforcement were supposed to clamp them? I blame them and not the trailer as it is now. When money changes hand, this is what happens. Do they think if this had injured people, sorry will work? Road safety and the others should sit their asses up and work. People need to start being held responsible for things like this and the sooner the better.

One would expect Gov. Ambode to query the LASTMA DG for this. There is a law in place and the only way to enforce it is to get the authority involved responsible for the law. LASTMA should be responsible for the enforcement of the law and hence their DG should be sanctioned for this. #Mytakeonthismatter

Linda please campaign about road worthiness of the trucks and fastening the containers not unleasing the weapons on citizens who for one thing or the other are on the road after 9pm. Think about it..

Unknown said...

How about the new law

Unknown said...

the truck drivers don't clip the container the truck they just drop it and start moving and the law enforcement are not tying they don't check them stopping the truck for moving day time will not SUV the problem
