This kind of jungle justice need to stop in Nigeria. A civilized society don't act like that. The criminal deserve "justice" in due process, in a court of law or by jury of his peers. I know civil society and key infrastructures are dysfunctional in Nigeria, but acting in a barbaric manner do not only demean the criminals, but also the so called "dispenser" of justice who have lost the humanity in themselves.

I have no pity for armed robbers and whatever act retaliation is meted on them. He must be notorious in the area and I'm sure that is the reason he was beaten this way. He got what he deserved. I know someone who got robbed and the armed robbers were apprehended by the police but the police told them the robbers had disappeared in their custody, after raping 2 people and tying up and beating others including the old father in the house. If the police was trustworthy this man would have been handed over to them without this beating but a lot of armed robbers bribe their way out of police custody, hence the the aggrieved people have to carry out jungle justice in self defence. He got exactly what he deserved.
