They should work on the bridge too, some part doesn't have rails.
That's good...he's a very careless driver...
The FRSC, LASTMA and Police should also be charged for allowing him and other drivers ply the road without necessary paperwork while all they do is just to collect bribe
He shud be killed
He shd be arraigned together with the company that wouldn't strap a container on a trailer before sending it out ad well as the constructors of the bridge without a strong protector. They're all guilty of multiple accidents and deaths.

How the hell is this his fault biko. This never happens on roads that are flat, whoever is responsible for the upkeep of that road or which ever road the trailers use is responsible for this tragedy. Its common sense, the heavier your load in the case cement the more likely the load will tip over if the trailer hits a pot hole. The usual niaja lazy solution to everything is to ban instead of fix the root problem. The Driver and the family if the victims need to sue the state of city or who ever is responsible. Putting that driver in prison does not take away the risks posed by the roads.
He will pay for all he has done.
Linda instead of looking at the trailers as the problem you need to apply some common sense and call out the real problem whenever these things happen. Put your bootleg american sensibilities and inflections to good use
It yaf finish for him patapata bayi!
More of dis, maybe sanity would return to road users. Linda take note!

Rosie Said......This is exactly what am talking about!!!!!!! Holding somebody accountable.....The shipping company that owns that container is also liable. They should pay damages to the families of the dead. Unless we continue on this course, people will continue to be reckless and negligence and be getting away with it.

It's the company that should be dragged to court and punished. When you as a business hire someone to work for you, the person must have the necessary tools. If s/he does not have those tools, the employer should be liable.
The driver was hired and sent to collect cement without having a driver's license, or the necessary skills to perform his job. Is it his responsibility to ensure the container was properly placed on the trailer?? What if he hadn't been trained on what to do or how to do it? How then is the container falling off his fault??
THE DRIVER DID NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO PERFORM HIS JOB WELL.
That's the employer's fault.
However, a driver is responsible for driving recklessly all day and everyday. Those are the charges that need to stick.

What of the VIOs who allow such atrocious vehicles on the road, turning a blind eye and taking bribes.
The punishment is not even enough for the oloshi
@Henry: ur right
D owner of the vehicle is vicariously liable for the actions of the driver. They (driver and owner) should both be charged.
