Bank job!!! Hián.... Best of luck to those who apply

How can u graduate@24 in these present Nigeria if not for God. Asu strike,Asup strik, primary n secondary teachers strik!
The rich will keep getting richer bcz they can afford to send their kids to private schools n Uni who will finish @ age 22,Nysc@22/23 and can apply for this job @ 24.
The poor continues to be poorer and the middle class will continue to work 10x of the rich kid to prove a point.

N81,000 isn't bad, but is it net of taxes? Cos most banks pay about N60k - N70k for this.

Have you ever seen a HND graduate leave the Polytechnic at 24? Common employers na!!!! e ya ara yin ni brain na. Why do you guys do this abeg? Its inhuman and wicked joor. 24years HND graduate? Its not like its impossible but I mean considering the strikes and having to spend more years dan required, then 24 is unrealistic. make una park well abeg. If u want to employ, do it well and stop looking for qualifications and experiences even your ancestors dont have.

Given the 6,3,3,4 educational cycle, if all things being equal... a child will be 6yrs before enroling in pry sch.
6 pre pry education
6 pry education
3 junior sec education
3 snr seconday education
2 yrs OND (if no carry over or strike)
1 yr compulsory IT
2 yrs HND (if no carry over or strike)
1 yr NYSC
given the above 6+6+3+3+2+1+2+1=24yrs (for heaven sake is this possible in Nigeria)?... Linda Biko check it.

This advert is not realistic. How many Nigerians enter University at 20? by the time you graduate you are 25 years already.

The Age limit is not realistic.

That's great! I'm sure there are a lot of job seekers here that wont mind this, salary not so good but a good place to start.

Contract staff; A good step for new graduates to gather experience.

It is high time you people stopped asking for HND (only) graduates for such lowly bank jobs (etc). in the UK where they copied the HND technical system, It is a two year direct program which one can do after his/her O'levels. He can then seek a direct entry into the 300 level at any University. But here, after WASTING 5 YEARS (2yrs ND, 1yr IT, 2extra yrs HND) through a polytechnic system, you still want to use them for some lowly, second class citizen labourers' job & pay. I pity u all.

Chidinma Grace said...

So de don't need Bsc holder? Too bad. I only av a Bsc n OND not HND.

The money too small, i spent half of that just this week and besides with all this asuu strike where them go find applicant with those qualification and age

ElsieNene said...

This is so not real! They are not serious.

BigB said...

Bullshit!! it takes 5 yrs to complete HND in Nigeria, bearing in mind that the recommended age to get in to school is 18 yrs, meaning that earliest age people will graduate is 23 baring ASUU strike and the likes. Then 1 year to complete NYSC. Age limits should be made illegal as a requirement for job in Nigeria

Destiny West said...

@nurarihiyon yokai small indeed, der ar sum pple out der,who is lukin 4 opportunity like dis, which the salary is not even up to dis. ( Spendin half of it, doesn't mean anytin to anyone here.
