All these saddening news, make me wonder if there are two versions of the Qur'an, all these fanatics are driving me really crazy. Shariah laws are based on Hadiths, hadiths are recollections the, of other people, of the sayings and deeds of the Prophet Muhammed(pbuh). Hadiths came into existence after the Prophet's death, some are authentic, some are just someone's opinion. First case of 'apotasy' came happened also after the death of the Prophet. Which tells us fanatics and crazies have existed for a really long time. Hadiths at times contradicts what the Qur'an tells us, what Allah tells us about our religion. The two verses below are from the Qur'an:
"O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah ; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise". (Q60:10)
And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah , in whom you are believers. (Q60:11)
These are the words of the Qur'an, I don't see lashes or killing, Islam gives us free will, NO COMPULSION! The Qur'an talks of fairness and compensation, even when you kill someone mistakenly and even intentionally, you compensate, you only pay with your life when there is no other recourse. The Qur'an doesn't give us authority to kill, in almost every verse, if not all, you find sentences like, Allah is oft forgiving, Allah is all knowing and wise. Sentences that say leave judging and punishment to Him. Lord save us from the mad men that walk the earth.
