Please pardon Buhari. He is still looking for his certificate. Buhari does not understand what it takes to go through the four walls of schools.

Buhari is right joor.Ministers are talking drums in this tupsey turvey system of ours. And @ the end of the day, they go home with outrageous salary. To prove him right, the govt has been running smoothly without ministers for months now.How is that possible? I guess we all know the answer

You Omobola Johnson as a minister of communication during Jonathan regem what have you done to effect Nigeria communication systems?
You people sold nitel to public as to make money for individuals so they could establish mobile phones, we hope some of the ministers appointed by Buhari will do something but past regem had done but squander our funds to themselves..Right now there is no land line phone again in Nigeria because the ministers sold the national telecommunications to your brothers and sisters alike.
Right now Buhari is very correct and been honest with people

Maybe the ministers who don't make noise are the smart Yoruba ones that make the money quietly without raising anyone's suspicion. Please list your accomplishments. Please tell us why you didn't reorganize or improve your ministry wing of the civil service. Not all Nigerians are stupid you know.

Unknown said...

You get what you wish for....Nigerians fekt they voted change, not knowing it was dictatorship in disguise......smh.

Shut up you ignorant little rat......which life depends on what? She is a minister and has a right to defend herself....if some of them are lousy u don't make a sweeping comment at all of them..

The president should start making effort to turn things around rather than make noise or looking for excuses here and there. Before you know what is happening, fours years will be over. Talking withing thinking.

Buhari is right, it's the Perm Secs that are the back bones of the ministry. Ministers get shuffled and not risen from the ranks

Anonymous said...

No need to abuse the girl...this your so called minister almost auctioned a huge government asset to her hubby...apart from all the deals she sends his way...we are aware of all your dirty dealings Madame minister....no just make noise anyhow.. As we have chosen to forget your issue cause there are bigger fishes to fry just kuku face your front

Wilsoniyke said...

Oya nah, that is the price to pay when you elect an illiterate with no sense of administration.. He should know that ministers get the blame when things go wrong. This is called the principle of anonymity under the civil service... Sorry for my country...

Anonymous said...

Linda. It seems some hooligans have infiltrated or hijacked your blog and now make very uncivil and 'motor park' comments. Pls begin to sensor such comments except if they are making sense to you.

Anonymous said...

igwe adaobi and Anita gold try get sense for once, see the real meaning of a sentence, stop being gullible, this is how a dictatorship begins, soon the president will tell you that the country doesn't need ministers anymore, and stop feeling that the president is a messiah sent to free nigeria,he is not,it is statements and support from people like you that gives rise to dictatorship in a country.

Anonymous said...

Mumu, this happened in Olu obasanjo's tenure not jonathan (privatization of Nigerian telecommunication) get your facts. Plus, she is right... buhari shouldn't generalize certain flaws that only few ministers posses... giving the good ones a bad reputation in the international community..

Anonymous said...

Point of correction, Buhari is just a sole administrator, there is nothing like Government here, with all his travels to all over the world without ministers is rubbish, he have good mind but his approach is to governance is fuck up.

What govt has been running smoothly without ministers? What is the current state of the economy? What is the current unemployment index as a result of lack of economic blue print? Some documents have been waiting for approval since July! As far as am concerned you just use words to mask your mental deficiency every time. You never make any sense..##

It's time for all Nigerians to be watched dogs to caution our brothers and sisters who are ministers to ask them if they were actually doing their minstarials duty whilst they were still in the government?
When they were no longer there they could answer to any question without fears. One of ministers porkected 6.9 billions naura their sons and daughters using jet as their private cars around the world. Is that the jobs you are to do by using our funds to your private enjoyment? You are being paid enough salary yet you are abusing us with our national treasure why ? Let our eyes be opened to what is going on in our society and in our government in their day today activities.

I want to thank GOD for president buhari because the ministers, senators, house of assembles, speakers they are all thieves but I believe the good lord will catch with them. GOD will kill all the thieves in this country

The fact is that at both the Federal and State levels, the actual business of running the ministries is done by the Permanent Secretaries, who have worked and risen through the ranks of the civil service. Ministers and Commissioners are political appointees who are most times not even suited for their ministries, neither by educational qualification or experience. No need to point fingers or lay blames, there were some Ministers that made some impact in their ministries but ask yourselves, have the ministries not been running in the absence of these appointments? The fact that papers are waiting to be signed or approvals to be given is only due to the fact that the Perm Secs have not been given such powers, which in my humble opinion, they deserve.

Unknown said...

Also note that though he may be slow, the appointments the President has made so far, are really and truly suited for their jobs in the aspect of educational and work experience....(eg. SSA, Customs, Military, Navy, Air force Heads).. so please people, allow him do his search and screening, it's his cabinet and that does not make him a dictator. Jobs will come, let's just pray that God keeps the president true to a mission that would benefit us all.

Pls Buhari is confused! Former minister for agriculture is in his cabinet, Y? If ministers are not working y did he appoint him!

Anonymous said...

Dear Former Minister, while i respect you and all. I think your statement like Buhari's is a generalization.

Just as there are Minister's that worked hard, there are civil servants that work hard. But you didn't give them a chance because you were busy appointing Consultant's to do our work. maybe you should have given us a chance before writing us off.

Thank you. I hope she reads this comments.

@Anon 7:58
Pls answer these questions also:
What govt has been running smoothly with ministers?
What was the state of the economy when ministers r running it ?
What was unemployment index as a result of economic blue print in the past?
If some documents waiting approval, were signed would it resolved the main problems
