Photos: Trailer falls in a busy road in Port Harcourt this morning
This trailer fell this morning on a busy road in Port Harcourt as it was trying to swerve land. Luckily no life was lost. Aren't there people/agencies to inspect these containers before they hit the road?
More to the point, why are these big monsters allowed to pass through a major city??? Have the authorities in Port Harcourt given any thought to the idea of building a separate tunnel for trailers and lorries???
I wonder oh and they keep falling killing people day in day out and no govt is saying anything theew was a time they restricted their movement to nites buh no compliance sebi its those on govt that owns most of them thats why they dont care their wealth means so much to them than pple lives.
Road safety should focus more on buses and heavy duty trailers and tippers plying the highway. They carry these containers without any chains thereby endangering the lives of individuals.
How is this news linda? Trailers and containers and the likes fall everyday, go to apapa and see!!! Stop giving us boring news jare. Is it just today that a trailer is just falling on a busy road abi this one na the first trailer wey go fall for PH city making it news credible? Park well jo
Last night I saw a trailer of which 3 extra "keke napep" was placed on top of it with out any support to avoid it fallen off easily incase of necessit, and a thought quickly went 2ru my mind which was: wat if this "keke napep falls on oder cars or bus on this road what would be the outcome?...hmmm anyway, I hope this come to an end or under inspection.

Travel the major highways in this country and you will find carcasses of trailers lying about. They are just a menace to the society.
