Restriction of movement continues during environmental sanitation - Lagos govt

The Lagos state government says restriction of Movement during the monthly sanitation exercise is still in force. According to a post on their Facebook page, a federal high court today granted a stay of execution on the March 16th High court verdict nullifying the restriction of movement during environmental sanitation exercise in the state. This implies that until the appeal by the state govt is heard, the nullification of restriction of movement cannot be enforced. So stay at home, people! :-)

I really don't understand why LASG will not obey a simple court ORDER.
Guess DSTV Nigeria took a cue from them. Flagrant disobedience to the LAWs of Nigeria.

Our government is our biggest enemy. Irrational humans holding positions of authority.

Well considering how dirty some places are I think it is needed. I just hope lagos state govt is not wasting tax payers money to fight this case in court so that dubious activities can be carried out during said period of the environmental movement restriction

Sanitation indeed. Lagos is yet to be sanitised. I really hope some measures can be put in place to make it more effective.

Sanitation is needed once a month in this crazy Lagos to calm your mind and calm your soul. The wahala of Lagos is too much. Once a month peace for 3 hours is ok.
