Certainly my first comment after years of reading LIB. So why have I decided to post a comment today? Simple, Mr. Freeze needs to take home some learning.
Etcetera not having a single hit as a musician doesn't stop him from being one; moreso, even if he fails as a musician, whoever said it was a sin to try and fail? Read up Abraham Lincoln's biography - and that's just one out of a billion of such instances. It's good Etcetera has moved on to try writing and so far it's working for him so embrace that reality. Whether he begged you to air his songs or not doesn't matter at all because most artist do same before they make fame; just ask around.
By the way, did you just refer to Wizkid and Davido as kids? I can bet they won't find that derogating statement funny at all. Choose your words correctly Freeze, I admit it could be difficult especially when you are vexed but just try mbok.

I don't get this mentality at aaallll! So freeze should keep quiet because etc is only trying to carve an identity for himself? What about freeze's and other OAP's identities? Sunny, you just hit the nail on the head. He's been goading and picking on popular people with his articles just to gain attention. He's just an attention seeker. If he's so sure of his music and what he does, then he should face it squarely and leave people alone. I can't stand that kind of dirty strategy. Putting other people down, especially where their career is concerned only do you can gain some fame out of it and resurrect your own dead career. Freeze, na wa o. If you really thought these of him, you should have kept your feelings to yourself. The way most OAPs treat upcoming artistes is very unfair. Kshow of City FM is guilty of this. What you ought to do is to improve upon your presentation skills - that's the best way to make him look stupid, as you claim he is. Me, I have ported to Radio Continental and I particularly like the Lunch Beat hosted by Lady Mary. She's got a lovely voice and tangible content. I love all their programmes unlike most superficial radio stations. Etcetera, your music is nice, do more of it. Breakthrough will surely come in God's own time, not Freeze's.

Well, for me, hence everyone has a right to his or her opinion doesn't give Mr Freeze or Fridge the right to rain insults on him..i like Etcetera's music alot, the problem is, Nigerians don't appreciate his kind of music, we only appreciate baseless and non-sensible music that doesn't convey any message like Terry G and the rest of them. for me, the few Nigerian Musicians i really respect are: Tuface, Sound Sultan, Etcetera...even if he's not made it big! the rest musicians, its just the good beat they sing to that makes us like their music not that they have a true musical voice or are real musicians..Thank you
