According to Reggae icon, Majek Fashek, who is battling drug alcohol abuse & just came out rehab, 'mental health is
very important in the lives of people and a nation.' Speaking at the 46th Annual General Conference and
Scientific Meeting of the Association of Psychiatrists in Nigeria (APN)
in Lagos, themed 'Mental Health as a Driver for Positive Change', he
said,
“Mental health is not a yardstick to look down upon people. There is need to create a system to manage or rehabilitate people who are not mentally balanced and as well create more awareness on mental health challenges and appropriate management. Government should look into how to rehabilitate mental health patients as most of them have great potentials and talents.'

Majek Fashek needs to face fact. He was mentally balanced and had great potentials and talents. Greed and love of booze, drug and alcohol wrecked him. A grown man that refuses to act his age, and grow up. No one is looking down on him. If Majek Fashek didn’t abuse and rehabilitate drug and alcohol, he won’t be in his present situation, and wouldn’t be asking the government to rehabilitate his backside, habit and way of life thats got him into trouble, messed up his life and set a very bad example to the young ones. Majek Fashek is a very bad role model. He’s looking down on himself. Although he should be ashamed of himself, and get off his backside, he’s busy being retarded, stupid and shameless. He should bloody grow up, get off his bloody arse, and fix up his life, like a man, before its too late for him. There's only one life. Make the best use of your life, while you can.
