A woman said her newly employed house-help robbed her while she was away from home and absconded. Read her story below...
"I hired a maid, Janet Dina, that's if its her real
name through an agent. This girl has worked for me for just a month now. Yesterday, I was supposed to go out with her but she begged me to let her go
make her hair. I allowed her and even gave her N2k to use for her hair. I
went out and left her at home. When I got back home in the evening with
my sister, I realized the door was open. I went to my room and noticed my laptop
was missing so was my sisters. Some clothes and bags were also missing.
On realizing I had
been robbed, I check in her wardrobe and her clothed and box were missing, so I
went to ask my security if they had seen her, they said they saw her
leaving with her box and two handbags and when they asked her where she
was going she said she was coming to meet me where I was. I usually
leave her with my year old son but as God will have it yesterday, I took him

There has been a lot of news updates of late concerning house helps robbing their employers, but unfortunately a lot of people are not informed and funny enough those that rob the most are those that come from agents. Some stay upto 3 years before pouncing on their employer big time. People should actually thread with caution because things have really changed in our society. If one really needs a help, maybe getting one you're familiar with might help in as much as it takes only the grace of God to succeed when it comes to getting a trusted help.

As humans we are selfish by nature. It is just to different degrees in each person. We all know that it is safest to get a relative, but we want to be able to hire and fire at will which isnt possible with relatives.
Secondly, most of us have some cockroaches in our cupboards(not necessarily bad things) that we dont want to go public in the extended family.
My advice, For those who dont have babies, employ the services of those who come daily, charge daily and go away after work. That is the best.
For those who are career people and want to have babies, COUNT THE COST.
For those who already have babies, careers and are in this sort of dilema, you better go to the Village kiakia. Enter agreement on period so you wont be bound forever. You cant have your cake and eat it.

Pple need to be very careful about hiring maids..most of them r either thieves,kidnappers u name it. My ex-wife pushed me to hire a houseboy and lo and behold this boy absconded with my money and valuables worth almost 6OOk, who knows if he fuck my ex-wife join.
That's why nw I do things myself . I do the ones I can do the ones I can't do, I leave. No monitoring agents for my house again o.
