They didn't want their child to sit near him but they are shocked when learn who he is...

A family arrives at the doctor’s office, waiting to follow up with the doctor after their daughter underwent a bone marrow transplant operation. While waiting outside the office, they notice a dark-skinned man waiting as well. But rather than sit next to the dark-skinned man, the family chooses to sit away from the man. In fact, the father even stands so that his wife and daughter can avoid being near him. But watch as they are shocked when the doctor reveals a stunning revelation. Watch the video after the cut...

Any 3rd party interference is with approval of d px. .
I understand d need to preach love, but dis film is too fake abeg. Sorry, try next time.

If only racism was that obvious all the time. It happens this way but most times it's very subtle. Either you like it or not the gap will always be there. The new generations will be worse. Their parents are teaching them at a very young age not to go near dark skinned people. It's even more sad that when they come to Nigeria or any other African country, they are treated specially nice. And yet we wonder why people bleach their skin every day. It's like it's a curse to be dark skinned. God help us.

A touching one, racism is really a disease. Will the parents now tell the doctor to remove the bone marrow form their daughter because the donor is black? Though we dt have that problem in Nigeria, what we need in this country is to stop Tribalism and discrimination in religious grounds.

But this particular one is just a film. Yes, yes, I know it happens, but they didn't model this particular film after a true incident.

When we say "Oyibo" or "White Man" we are using racist language.
The more polite words to use are "Expatriate" or "Visitor". Usually try and find out their names as quickly as you can and refer to them by Name or Job Title. Eg Mr Humphrey, Jackson George, John, Technical Analyst, Consultant, MD, Chief etc. By making expatriates feel at home you let them bring out their best. It is never nice to use racist language to insult or abuse anyone. It pays to be civil and cultured towards other people. Then they respect you more. Never feel ashamed to introduce yourself as a Nigerian. It is more polite than saying you are black, everyone can already see that. In the UK or U.S you would fare better by identifying your nationality since there are so many indigenous black citizens and foreigners there that are black like you. Humility and courtesy always bring their reward. Stay as color blind as possible but be aware that there are many foreigners that may be less educated or sophisticated than black foreigners in their home country. Be yourself and hope for the best at all times. Always give a smile and return one when given. Use a nod to greet and it takes you a long way. Practice how to speak like your host without mocking them.
World Traveller.

It's soo sad that it takes turns all around the world today! I was at d basketball court today when a Korean guy came to watch us play somewhere in portharcourt when a fellow teammate started acting up saying he hates whites and he was walking towards dis young man to b violent while we held him back! He said Koreans lynched his bro to death and he hates them, then someone said something that was really touching, he said and I quote, " u going hard on this innocent man does not make u any different from those myopic and dead Koreans that did that to ur bro". We all need to love one another, irrespective of ur skin colour! I've never seen where or when violence and racial discrimination helped! Love is d greatest gift of all they say.

Hi @anon, u really sounded intelligent and i like u already.however i beg to differ on the part about the expatriate thingy. We are always so quick to call foreigners here expatriates but they never extent us the same courtesy when we work in they countries no matter how much we earn. Rather settle for immigrants, migrants etc. It might have happened but i have never heard a black man been referred to, as an expatriate. So u are right about been polite cos it really is the right thing to do , but to a large extent, respect begets respect. Ciao.

This message is more for Nigerians than the intended audience(racist whites who need to change their ways).
Nigerians are divided along tribal lines and all it takes is for linda ikeji to post an article on a drug smuggler who happens to come from a certain tribe or that the last government was corrupt. Then you get your myopic tribal bigots out of the woodwork. They wont even remember this video.
Moral is remove the speck from your own eyes so you can see clearly. How do we expect the oyinbo to treat us with respect when we dont respect ourselves.
A thief is a thief irrespective of where they are from, likewise a lazy corrupt politician is just that if he/her's public account is criminal.
Someone said the racists teaches their children from an early age not to associate with black people. But ask yourself as a Nigerian what are you teaching your children or saying to them about other tribes. It only takes a child to read posts by some of these so called libers to see how divided or bigoted Nigeria is.
