This week we heard about the maid who took two young boys from their home in Lagos after just a few weeks of working with the family. And I just heard about a maid in Abuja who strangled a 3 year old girl recently just because the girl's mum told her she couldn't travel to her village for Christmas.
The disappointed maid was said to have killed the little girl in anger because the girl's mother had insisted she had to stay in Abuja to look after the child. Please mothers, be more careful.

Oh my god God! dis is terrible! wot is happening with maids and kids dis days, God save the lives of our kids o! i think all company just have to have day care creeche and nursery for their staffers, and our grown up kids can be going to boarding secondary school, while d ones dat cannot express themselves well enough wil be resuming together with us in our offices cos dis is getting out of hands o! thou my sista inlaw is d one taking care of my kids, i now see why God did not make it possible for me to get a maid wen i desperately needed one, so my sista inlaw came to lagos for a part time programme every weekend and i just took her in and have been paying her sch fees, and she has been very wonderful to my kids, i ave cctv at home still thou, and she does not know, anytime i watched it i always bless her and shower hr wit gift, before i gets home she would have fed and bath the kids and even cologued them. she is so wonderful , but i am just lucky , wot if she did not come for a programme, i will not have any other choice but to get a maid! it is well with our kids, we just need to always commit dem into god's hands beforew leaving the house, i even use to add to my prayers dat my kids will not have any domestic accident and i always cover their scool bus with the precious blood of Jesus!
