I need to suck some oranges... Linda-Linda, I hope you don't have a dirty mind? lol
I am, the no Sender.
Now why do I think that these stuff's not for eating. They so buuttiifuuul, I'd feel like I was eating up somebody's art if I so much as let a peice fall unto my waiting tongue.
Yummyyyyyyy!!!!! Fantastic and fantabulous!!! Wish I can devour d fruits tru my phone.
Madam it is called capitalism, is this really needed?
Lovely and yummy..
Linda, i tire for you oh. Just because you havent seen this does not mean some of us have not seen this before especially on foreign sites. Na so u talk the same thing about Range Rover Evoque (abi na Evogue as u called it).
Concepteur de Fruitee. Is this company owned in the majority by Nigerians? Why not a Naija name for the company (Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and so on)?
Awwwwesome!!! Yinka
Never seen before? Really?
These are very impressive creations but where do naijas get strawberries from? And wot did this company mean by they are located in the high end of ikoyi. I bet you if I bring my 100k from mushin to order, your ignorant behinds will accept my order and even deliver to the hardest part of mushin.
*Yawns* Seriously? I do this at home for fun with my kids!
See http://www.ediblearrangements.com/?c=1 for reference.
It's nice that we now have it in Nigeria as well.
Really creative but this fruit design thing has been goin on 4 quite sometym now linda so its nt rily a new thing. BTW wat d heck is conceptuer du fruitee. Couldn't they ve kept d name simple like Fruit concepts or sometin? We too lik exotic soundin foreign names
Wow! So lovely!
After all these decorations,hw do u now begin to eat when this huge fruit fountains are presented to ur table iN an occasion? Apart frm d kebab,it wnt be easy o. JT.
hm this is just like edible arrangements in Canada..cool
Creativity. They're very beautiful
Nice but we have seen these before, got them in my mail but those designs were better and ofcourse the company can't be here in 9ja.
But why do Nigerians lie? These melons are unavailable in nigeria. only water melon is available.
People now take pictures from the internet and watermark as theirs? SMH!
These look way better and more creative than edible arrangements, these designs are not easy at all :)
....hmmmm.....yummy..... Will it be appreciated in 9ja where every1 is struggling to survive? Me likey just hope say e no cost sha.
yum yum...
This is a welcome addition to the Nigerian food and leisure industry.
But ewa na o, what is the meaning of this rubbish - "Located in the high end part Lagos, Ikoyi precisely, the company boasts of an impressive clientele which ranges from upwardly mobile personalities, corporate organizations, the elites to the selected few who attract reasonable incomes".
And you are advertising on LI's blog which is read by all sorts of people, from the so-called elites to the working class???? No disrespect my darling Linda.
That part of their statement just sounds very pretentious and condescending.
Yes, we know you may use exotic fruits(the fact is majority of your fruits will be locally sourced in the local markets of Nigeria, Cos if it isn't, it means it's not fresh!) and the art that goes into the arrangements is definitely something to be applauded but pls it doesn't mean that average Nigerians or even working class Nigerians may not wish to treat themselves once in a while, to your products, so please stop with all this high end bla bla bla.
Fantastic art. Show kids especially so they will fall in love with this and their mouths will water for fruits.
Creative and yummy......
I don't know about "like never seen before" because Edible Arrangements have been doing these designs since 1999; however, kudos to the person who did these, they are talented and creative:D
Fruits are seasonal in Nigeria, we did some research, about fruit tree biz, because this is what we do here in the UK were there are fruits all year round. Do they have to import strawberries or close shop when orange and banana are NOT in season in Nigeria?.
love the design even the name sef i love but they should sack their advertisement agency. with the small oyinbo wey i know the phrase "...the elites to the selected few who attract reasonable incomes.." mean say Linda and her clients dey curse 79% of nigerians (like we dont know the economy of our nation. the statement is soooo arrogant.
Linda Linda no think say u join the "selected few" oh.
selected few indeed. will not step into such a place cos they will sum up ur outfit from head to to and if u dont meet the million naira mark they will probably send their security to walk you out or give u a nasty attitude. from the statement it is obvious that the owner is a proud wanna be society babe
To the annon who stated that water melon is the only melon in Nigeria....my dear you are very worng and I ddoubt if you have ever been a remote part of Nigeria, outside Laogs. I did my NYSC in a little town about 30 mins from Abeokuta and my landlord grew all other types of melons on his huge farm! I was very shocked as I had only seen those other types aboard. Infact, my landlord said the reason he does not sell those melons is because of the costs of transporting them: vehicles can only go so far to his farm, you have to walk over an one hr from where the vehicle stops. Who wants to carry tons of melons on foot in this age.
I hope this info helps.
I Agree with Adele...what's with the condescending comments about it serving the elite only and upper class... if that is the case then u shudn't be advertising on Lindaikeja...
Abi does Rolex advertise in city people.......its called KYC
Na wa ooo for all the bad belle comments here oo! this is what kills us in Nigeria! we never support or encourage our fellow Nigerians....I am certain the writer didn't mean "never before seen" as you small minded people are taking it. Yes it is in Europe and the US, but it has never been seen in NIGERIA!!...Stop hating and go think of what to do with your life and how you can contribute to making Nigeria a better place....As for the madame that claims she does these fruit creations with her kids... Never seen a bigger LIAR!...
LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE TALENTS WE HAVE IN NIGERIA AND MIGHT BE A HUGE STEP TOWARDS MAKING NIGERIA A BETTER PLACE!!!!!
N/B I DO NOT KNOW THE COMPANY OR HAVE ANY LINK WITH THEM...JUST VERY SAD THAT WE KEEP DOING THESE THINGS TO OURSELVES....CDF...WELL DONE! KEEP IT UP AND IF YOUR MARKET IS FOR THE ELITE, YOU GO GET THEM!!!!!!!!
So i did a research on this company and my people!!! They are not lieing!!!!!! To answer some of the questions here, they actually source all their fruits abroad, they are a lot bigger than you even think...they don't play, trust me!
The chic behind this is soo hot is unbelieve, she actually does all the designs herself and she is soo passionate about her work it's refreshing.
I met her at the Wed expo when she was passionately educating people about the "Queen of Fruits" Mangosteen...you should've seen her face....Anyways guys, this business is more serious than we think o! there was a video of her carving the fruits...i bow!!!....Abeg leave am, the business is on fire!...I for one, i"m very happy it's in Nigeria.
I was just reading through these comments and I thought to my self, who are these people? Why do they reason like this and why do they just want to rubbish any good thing they see or hear about why??? But u know what? This is what we call joblessness, jealousy, sad sad people, frustrated people, people who have NOTHING going for them. Tell me, why would people have such wicked heart towards a complete stranger who obviously is very creative, has a whole lot going for her, someone who's come up with something this beautiful?! I see some comments where people say oh there's nothing new about this and so on.
If u make this at home with your kids, doesn't mean it's good enough to go commercial and face public scrutiny....hehehe....RIDICULOUS statements....almost every dad can kick a ball with his son at home....question is does that mean he's good enough to kick a ball for a living...can he be a pro footballer? If u can't answer these 'common sense' questions....then you are not worthy to type on blogs/forums for public consumption as this will mean feeding the public with garbage and blind opinion...ur better off converting that into positive energy for the betterment of urself and the Nigerian public.....
Pls, is there anybody that can do it for occasion in ibadan?
