Rubbish! This is what you call "over crowded"?!!! Go to Unizik during GS 101 and see what over crowded is. People still have spaces to seat and stretch their legs and you call that "over crowded".

I read some comments that show how oblivious people have become to crazy state of naija. If you don't call out the leaders that promised you good education, infracstructures etc ,the poor state of the country would never change. Instead people would rather have the status quo and travel to Malaysia, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and the likes to get education smh

Anonymous said...

Pay school fees and they will riot. You get what you pay for. Awoof na hin dey run belle. In most advanced societies, the school fees is used to get more lecturers. The lecturers then split the class into 4 or 5 groups. This way, you can give the best to your population.

Anonymous said...

It's a federal school, ask jonothig to do something

Anonymous said...

Is that the best way to study? You really need to go on tour outside Nigeria and see how thier lecture facilities are..

Anonymous said...

But that doesn't mean federal government should provide accurate facility... #jonothing#

Unknown said...

No! Its not over crowded. There was no sitting arrangement, that's the challenge.

Anonymous said...

Lol Julie no be Obioma University you go? Una get seat? Lol

Anonymous said...

The person who posted this picture is definitely not a student of the faculty of education. As a matter of fact, this particular glass house is among the best 5 lecture halls in Unilag. It has an average capacity of 300 people, eight good and working air condition, average ventilation and very good chairs(though not enough). Pls be objective in whatever you post.

Anonymous said...

na today!!!! this has always happened na, and if you dont attend the lecture na war...more space is needed in lag... i dont understand the stupid UBA recreational park they built...they shld just convert it into classes or hotels...shikena...

This nah small thing nah! In Faculty of Law unical, d diploma lecture hall has a seating capacity of 200 students but d faculty has admitted over 250 students for d programme, so u see pple seating by d window wen lecture is going on! Anyway, our new lecture hall courtesy of Ndoma Egba is under contruction!

seun said...

This is not new NAA, I finished from Unilag same faculty. This is obviously a faculty course lecture, one of dose Fed 401 etc. Faculty of Education is the most populated faculty in Unilag with crappy management and maintenance. To get transcript na wahala sef

Don't really understand d construction of dat "lecture hall" its too flat, there should be calculated gradients in form of steepy stairs or steps. How can someone sitting @ d back see what d lecturer is doing? & to think of lecture hall with "mobile" plastic chairs is beyond me! With how rich unilag is & this poor infrastructure is an insult to unilag students, & someone said its 1 of d best 5 lecture halls in d sch! Guess there's a gud reason OAU is called Great Ife

Christiana Iornongu said...

This is Nigeria now....this shouldn't shock u

Anonymous said...

Nor be space full the back soooo?

Anonymous said...

If dis is normal in most universities in Nigeria, then Federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta, UNAAB is an exception. No overcrowding o. And no matter how big the lecture theatre is, students sits comfortably with air conditioner. UNAAB sets standards...

Anonymous said...

And these ones will graduate and be feeling proud they went to unilag?! is this a school?! Mtchewww!

that's what virtually every government school experiences in Nigeria.
