Multiple talented music producer Cobhams Asuquo in an interview with
Punch yesterday said he wouldn't change anything about his life because he has an amazing life. When asked if he thought he would have been a bigger brand than he is today if perhaps he had the gift of sight, Cobhams said:
"I don’t know to be quite honest. That would involve turning back the
hands of time. I have met some amazing people in life and I think so
far, I have lived a glorious life and I continue to live an amazing
life. I am not sure I want to turn back the hands of time for anything,
not even for the gift of sight" he said

This is a testament to the phrase: 'ability in disability', that's why it pains me when I see disabled people begging on the streets. Why turn back the hands of time? His sight might actually derail his destiny. His blindness might be a blessing in disguise.

Life in itself is complicated such that we forget that everything happens for a reason. no pregnant woman would wish to have a blind child or one with any form of disability. having said that, I am also a person living with a disability and honestly, I WON'T CHANGE MY LIFE FOR ANYTHING. Folks lets learn to cherish what we have and appreciate the things we don't have. I love you Cobhams, you are an inspiration.

I remembered when this guy was about 7years old we were Charting @ home one evening and I asked him how old he was when they discovered he was blind and he told me he was about 9months old, and that when he was taken to the hospital it was revealed that he was born blind and I fell pity for him, the next thing he told me shocked me. He said I should not pity him one bit, and asked me to mention one thing I do that he can not do. So this was @ age 7 then. So what he said he meant.
