FAAN begins evacuation of abandoned aircraft nationwide

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), this week began the evacuation of all abandoned aircraft in airports across the country. A special task force committee was set up to handle the project. The evacuation of abandoned aircraft began from the Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, from there it will move to Abuja airport. The 13 abandoned aircraft in Lagos will be dismantled and its parts transported to a steel company for recycling.

Am sorry bt i have to say this. Nigeria is a useless country. Am a nigerian and i live and work in Qatar, a country that doesn't possess half of what we have in Nigeria. But bcos of good management, people on the outside thinks Qatar is that rich. Now the new Hamad international airport will open on 1st april with over 1oo destination as the countries target. Nigeria could not even boast of an airline. Nw the next move is to enrich someone through te evacuation of abandoned aircraft. How will that affect the aviation sector ? Useless country. Linda post my comment o..
