'Voice' star Christina Grimmie shot & killed during meet & greet with fans after performance
22 year old Christina Grimmie has been killed by a deranged fan. The former 'Voice' contestant was shot dead while doing a meet and greet with fans on Friday night June 10th following
a concert in Orlando, Florida. According to eyewitnesses, the man walked up to Christina and opened fire at point blank range, killing her instantly. Her
brother tackled the shooter, but the man was able to get free enough to
shoot and kill himself. The photo on the right was taken minutes before she was killed...
Christina and her brother were performing with their band Before You Exit when the sad incident happened.
Since finishing in third place on "The Voice" Season 6 (2014) ...
Christina signed with Island Records, and was reportedly working on an
album.

Police have identified Christina Grimmie's murderer as Kevin James Loibl ... a 27-year-old man from St. Petersburg, FL.
Loibl drove from his home to Christina's concert Friday night in
Orlando, and cops say he'd made plans to return to St. Pete after the
show ... an indication he felt he could get away with the murder.
Police say they were searching Loibl's home ... no word yet on what they found there. Loibl fatally shot himself during a struggle with Christina's brother ... after he shot the singer.
Loibl's family released a statement on the front door of their St. Petersburg home.
Sources connected to the family tell TMZ so far police have not told
them about any direct threat Loibl made either on social media or
otherwise. It appears, however that police know that the murder was
premeditated because they say he left his home intending to carry out
the killing.
