Linda it is not only saying we should live within our means, it is also saying we should avoid very large and elaborate weddings when someone is about to get married because that's the easiest way that the devil can strike. But if fewer people are invited and the wedding takes place before evil people get to know about it, they will not be able to plan their evil against you on that day. Then, you can now do an elaborate aniversary to put the devil to shame.

I always shake my head when one cousin or relative wants to get married and goes around begging for money. Cut your coat according to ur size. God has been merciful to me and Blessed our marriage
Bought my wife a 3500 dollar Tag watch and 10,000 dollar ring last year. Gonna buy her a 15K rolex this year for her Birthday by God's Grace.
That makes sense. Everyone should cut their coat according to their cloth. This is not time for expensive, big weddings or celebrations-unless you or your parents stole Government money
