I don't normally comment but I will do so now. The Wike's shadding of Amaechi is rubbish. It was Amaechi who graciously nominated Wike for ministerial position so if Wike is bragging about having being a minister and like you said "shadding" Amaechi with it, it sums up who Wike is for all to see. The rest is history as Wike got to Abuja and backstabbed Amaechi. I do not believe that Amaechi's supporters are jubilating that Amaechi is on the verge of being a minister, instead they are jubilating because Wike's campaign of calumny to block Amaechi's ministerial nomination failed woefully.
The pictures tell the story. You can see that Wike was managing to "praise" God as others. He is a well known cultist who has been initiating young men with financial inducement. He has no business calling on God. The last picture summed everything up. Hand in head, Wike knows deep inside that his game is up and come February, he will be swept out of office and then with no immunity, he will head to Abuja to account for all the money he embezzled as a minister in the education ministry.
Although I am not an indigene but I have been living permanently in Rivers since 2002. Even Wike himself knows that there was no election in Rivers state. All we saw that day was killing of people, thuggery and writing of results with the connivance of PDP controlled state apparatus - INEC commissioner, police, army and the rest. Unfortunately, Patience Jonathan (who is the architect of all these problems that culminated in sweeping her husband out of office) is no longer in power to save him and give him federal might to commit impunity all the time. I always knew it will come to this and I have no sympathy for Wike in any way.
As Obio/Akpor council chairman during the Odili tenure, Wike was very hostile to non indigenes in Rivers forcing down all manner of levies down our throats. I do not believe he has changed. He just slowed down because of the court cases against him as he is not sure of his fate. If he wins ( and I strongly pray he doesn't), those of us non indigenes are in soup.
I have some reservations about Amaechi but I will choose him over and above Wike any day. At least Amaechi did a lot of infrastructural development we can see clearly in Port Harcourt. Even that international conference center along Air Force/ Eliozu road where Wike did this thanksgiving was built by Amaechi. Look at Odili that did nothing in Rivers as governor ( I mean NOTHING when compared with the noise he makes), nobody is even talking about him. He got perpetual immunity saving him from probe. what does that mean? He is above the law? I urge PMB and Chief Justice to quash that Odili's perpetual immunity.
Finally, for PDP that is crying wolf about the judiciary verdict, when you people were in power what happened. Was it not impunity everywhere? In Rivers for instance, did you people not use court to install a state PDP chairman that never contested the election? At least the PDP congress was aired live and we all watched. How come Obuah who never contested was installed through the court to do a hatchet job which is now backfiring. My agony is that it is Olisa Metuh, an Igbo man, that is doing all the crying for PDP and I urge Mr. Metu to resign from that position. Igbos are not known for cry cry.

My authentic and verifiable view is that there is no way Ikwerre people, constituting over 50% the population of Rivers State, will be denied the Governorship of that State. It is not a question of Wike or Amaechi but the rights of the majority Ikwerre people to decide who will be their Governor. All hatchet scribblers can write whatever they were hired to write but fair must be allowed to be fair. If the Fulani, Yoruba, Ijaw and Hausa are allowed to choose Governors from their folks, then the Ikwerre must be allowed to do so too.

Under him, Universities were closed down for months in 2013 due to ASUU strike and the poor conditions of our students' facilities, or does he think we have forgotten? He is an illegitimate Governor who is just warming the seat for the real Governor who will emerge after the rerun elections that will SURELY take place. Amaechi was Governor for eight years, before that he was State House of Assembly Speaker. Not forgetting that he was the Director-General of Buhari's succesful election campaign as Nigeria's President. How dare he compare himself to Amaechi? Abeg, shoe get size!
