A plane caught fire at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida airport
today, sending passengers fleeing for their lives out of the aircraft's
emergency slides. The plane was engulfed in thick black flames before
airport firefighters came and extinguished the fire. Everyone was
safely taken off the plane but about seven people were injured while
three people were sent to the hospital. More photos after the cut...
