The group said they felt the need to voice out the concern of those remaining inmates and families that have their sons waiting for the same fate. An official of the embassy received a letter of appeal from the group to the Indonesian government. In attendance were mothers, siblings and the Nigerian community living in Indonesia.
Continue to see more pics from the march and names of those waiting on death row. The group say they hoping for either Prisons exchange or lowering the sentence to life.

The law is not going to be adjusted, Indonesian President on Christian Amanpor said, people die everyday of drugs in his country and traffickers are the cause, so anyone guilty of dealing with drugs must face death penalty. Something about the names on the list though, all IBOS.

Asian countries doesn't pamper drug issues like nigeria .my advice to Asian countries is dat dy should make nigerians sign a form stating all d punishment for crimes in country before giving you a visa. So that no one will complain when caught with drugs.
I hope this works.

The message and lesson in this is: "If you don't like the consequence, then don't do drugs". Nigerians are yet to come to terms with discipline. The culture of indiscipline has been enthrenched in Nigeria/Nigerians since independence. Any government that attempted to instill discipline met massive criticism, resistance and premature truncation through military coups and even assasination. No nation can achieve a true and enduring prosperity without discipline. Look carefully and you'll see that most if not all the dilenmas bedeviling Nigeria today have a common denominator - INDISCIPLINE!.
Much as we may call the death sentence an extreme justice, some nations have taken such penal steps to ensure that one loophole of indiscipline does not widen into a nation-wide decadence, and a strong deterrence is set for all.
Na wa! Only ibo names!!
It's high time we start balancing the equation here..-minus - minus= ?
Angola, Malaysia and Indonesia are just killing Nigerian citizens anyhow
omo my igbo brodas don finish.......
This is serious. Majority are Ibo's.
Nigerian government, please do something about this issue.
Why are these all igbo names? What's wrong with igbo people? Tufiakwa! Na only una dey? I heard igbo's are the reason why Dubai immigration changed their policies for Nigerians.
So sad bt majority if not all the names on that list re ibo names. Why do we ibo's' always get involved in drugs related offences. We all need money bt must we push drugs to get money and in the process endanger ur life and your whole family put in2 jeopardy and have to start runnin helter skelter to get u freed. Tink bfr actin my ibo brodas. #sayno2drugtrafficking. C-NERO-7

Fuckin blood suckin indonis gov
Haba!! Just look at the number of igbo names in that list. The thing is that this our useless Nigerian gov't will never stand up for its citizens on a normal day talk more of during an election period like this. If we have an sensible and effective ambassador to Indonesia why would anybody have to protest?
I hope they get out of that trash hole with their lives tho, igbo or not igbo. We have to be careful in our dealings. The Nigerian gov't doesn't care about us. Nothing is worth dying for here!! *sobs*

I pray God intervenes cause this is a delicate matter. www.ikeani.blogspot.com
Igbos and their desperation for money. Na wa ooo!!!
Hav you all noticed they are all igbos ?

Druggie! Thailand no dey even carry them go court...they kill them on sight!
Nigerians should stop being silly. We all know Asian countries don't take drug offences lightly and our people want quick money.
Fed Govt should have intensified its effort to make it happen
Linda, the man being interviewed in the third picture, is he also undergoing gender transplant hormone therapy, like Bruce Kardashian... Jenner?!!!
Impulse400
All ibos, god hv mercy
Too bad oooo.. Our govt should do something but quite unfortunate we don't hv d kind of govt that can speak up
Drugs offence in other country is death penalty. It only in Nigeria is politic, gladys iyama was a drug pusher face the same death penalty then today nigerian as turn it to politic.Pdp govt is not saying anything.
In as much as we condemn the execution, there is a need to address the Nigerians quest for easy money. It is disgraceful both at home and abroad.
Na wa ooo
@Galore
How come they are all Igbo people???
No yoruba or hausa name...

Amen
Their brothers were drug peddlers, duly caught, tried, convicted and executed. The rest of the world is not like Nigeria. If you do the crime, you will pay the price. Instead of protesting, they should go home and raise better children for the world.

Nigeria should place a ban with our citizens doing business in Indonesia . I see people here stating that they are Ibo names. That is not what matters. They are Nigerians first. What a shame... Afterall Linda is Ibo but is not biased. Do you all think she did not see that before posting this ?
All na Eboe names.
No wonder Ibos are die hard Jonothing supporters. Criminals supporting each other.
Thgt i was the only one dat noticed....may God help dem
Ibos should stop disgracing this country. Una too like money. The other day i read a white man bought an ibo guy as a toy for the son to pkay with and the guy accepted because of the money involved. They are the highest drug peddlers, they van even use their own family for rityal because of money
Mitcheeeew.

In-as-much-as one abhors crime, death sentence is not a deterrence to crime. The essence of punishment is to correct and one does not learn correction when he is dead. No repentance in the grave. No one should take away life because he is not the author of life. Our government should rise up to the challenge and plead Indonesia govt to save the lives of the remaining ones waiting execution. Other govts did it.... Nigeria kept quiet.
12:24 u re big fool
This drug issue is a very big one. If only we were able to curb it from home we wouldn't be talking about this today. That same death sentence that Buhari is being crucified for today would have been the permanent solution to this. I am of the opinion that if we had upheld that practice today Nigerians wouldn't be gracing some island prison on death row. Its a big shame to us Nigerians. God help us as we help ourselves!
Shebi na government send dem do drugs. U shud see what these drugs do to people that use them, then you wouldnt pity any of these fuckers trying to make quick cash by indirectly killing these people. Too bad nothing from this protest will yield any result. The relatives should accept their loss already.
Death is usually the penalty for drugs peddling in these Asian countries. And the fact is, they do not hide it. At least I know about Malaysia. I just don't understand why people want to make it at the expense of their precious lives.
One thing i know about this case is that it can only take the mercy of God for these ones.
I pray God's mercy speaks to them. But please let us always remember that it will profit nothing to gain all the wealth if at the end one loses his soul.
Anon 6:33 thanks! The earlier they remove them, the better for the good ones. Im tired of facing bs and stigmatization left n right because some idiots won't hustle right. See how we go and spoil our name and image around the world and spoil things for the honest ones. Smh
The pit of hell is better than republic of Nigeria, is only Nigerians that are been killed, embarrassed, etc. The president is a disgrace to the nation and all his so called workers. Imagine how leaders of tomorrows are been killed and the old fools are enjoying the nation cake that suppose to be shared to everybody alone, contesting for presidency and governors. Have this guys committed more than the president and governors? Is Nigeria good for a living before they traveled to engage their salves in drug business? What the foreigners doing in Nigeria? Stealing our oil, misusing our girls, using our girl nude pictures and sex video tapes for porn website, etc while in all most all the Asia countries you there not near their ladies. Is a big disgrace and shameful thing to the Federal Republic of said called Nigeria. One day will be the potion of your children and then you will test the soup and know how it sweets BASTARDS.
