The convicts, who were killed by firing squad, are the first people executed under new President Joko Widodo, who took office in October 2014. He signed off on the executions last month..
Brazil and the Netherlands have since recalled their ambassadors from Indonesia after the country defied their pleas and executed two of their citizens AFP reports. Brazilian Marco Archer Cardoso Moreira, was convicted of smuggling cocaine into Indonesia in 2004. Dutchman Ang Kiem Soei was arrested 8 years ago. Daniel Enemuo, 38, was also arrested in 2004
The others executed in the Boyolali district in central Java were Namaona Denis from Malawi; Indonesian woman, Rani Andriani, and Vietnamese woman Tran Thi Bich Hanh.

Nigeria too should recall our ambassador.
Wicked president
They knew what they were going into.Imagine trafficking drugs in a country you know has zero tolerance for drugs? Anyway the sentence was harsh
May their souls rip
Dunno if we have an embassy there but even if we do, Nigeria govt will NEVER recall their ambassadors like others did. We prefer them to execute a citizen rather than soil the relationship with one unreasonable country
Get rich or die trying
Drugs is never the way. Rip
And the world was mourning for their plane crash, executing for drug trafficking is totally wrong, life is prison is a perfect punishment.
It doesn't even make any sense to me at all,at least the others would learn a lesson or two from this act.
Wow!
No one has tbe right to kill another! What happened to Jail time. Sad
Hw I wish Nigeria law system wil b lik dis...
It wil go a long way to eradicate all dis indiscipline in Nigeria. Let them face d consequent of their actions over there.
Charity begins@home.
God have mercy!
It's so unfortunate but let others learn from this......nothing is hidden under the sun...#smh
Too bad
Lesson
Lord have mercy. May the gd Lord console his family.
eya. may d souls of d departed RIP
This Indonesians are serious. It's a way of putting an end to the crime so it has to be an execution penalty to chase this drug baron. That's when a country is bent on eliminating crime and creating change. Them drugs barons had better stop running home. Those white apes mean business
He spent 11 years in jail, wasn't that punishment enough? Executing people for smuggling is rather harsh.
The pickings are slim if you move to Asia only to wind up a drug dealer. Indonesia is making victims of victims by killing the dealers, insignificant foot soldiers in a wider powerful network. They'd be going after the kingpins if they were serious about stamping out the drug trade in their country. Enemuo was replaced by another desperate being willing to do anything for money long before the bullets tore through his flesh. Poor guy. RIP.
Omg! Dis pple r hrtless ooo. U just killed som1 dat is hearty as u are? Derisgodooo! Rip to d dead. Hope u repented sha. Its well!
This is just sad...
RIP bro....this should serve as a lesson to others who are planning to walk the same path he did.
D sentence was kinda harsh. Ubanagum
Nawah. The man already spent 10yrs in jail sef. May his RIP. This world is getting scarier.
I pity the family
Why na? They shuld av at least givn. Dem 25yrs jail term
I feel pained, may God comfort his family & grant him eternal rest
Habaaaa! They shuld av at least givn dem 25yrs jail term
Sad!
I understand that both the Brazilian and Dutch government understood that Indonesia did what they had to do by the laws of their hand. However, you see what they did? They still went ahead to recall their ambassadors to Indonesia. Why? Because they want to show to Indonesia that they cannot be walked over and they would go far lengths to protect their citizens.
This our clueless government no go do anything...dem go jus dey there like mumu.
That'll teach others a serious lesson. Had it been he succeeded in selling his stuff, he would've come and start a lavish life, driving cars of luxury. And Indonesian children will the victims and later on join extremist group for destroying humanity.

Wrongest place for biz dude,..we warned u
So this man is dead? Jesus! Why waste your life like this? Y carry drugs to Asian countries whose capital punishment for drug trafficking is death? Did u bother to stop n tink of ur family bfr embarking on such journey? Hmmm
OMG!! This is so pitiful, They should have found a lesser punishment, not death. God bless their souls
Heartbreaking. ðŸ˜
This is so sad. I am opposed to capital punishment as a deterrent for crime because the trap door often catches innocent folks. They should be rehabilitated through various social schemes. I feel sorry for his family. I just hope people see this and learn a valid lesson that not all countries tolerate smuggling and will come down hard on culprits. May God have mercy on their souls.
poor him. is a big lesson to others who thinks indonesian law is just mere fab. I pray he recounts his sin and seek for forgiveness before his last breathe. Nigerian govt is just too busy with the upcoming election, it was wrong timing
Very sad! He wasted. They don't think about d repercussions when engaging in such dangerous mission. Hope this serve as warning to. Others Rip Enemuo
Those carrying drugs to Asia should always think write their will and put their houses in order before going because once you are caught, no mercy. Dada is Death that's the law in Asia. RIP hustlers.

Really sad that they had to end their lives abruptly after detaining them for so long...... May their souls rest in peace
And it is only Enemuo a Nigerian that was displayed, why were d faces of d Brazilian n d likes not shown?bloody racists, when ll dey start to accept Africans in all these bloody countries? Moreover dis punishment is rather too harsh,it's high time they changed or ammended dis their constitution in Asian countries,God I'm soaked wit tears reading dis,Daniel Enemuo may ur soul n others rest in peace Aamen! So painful.
May you never be forgiven for your crimes. What happened to life imprisonment? SMH!
if to say he succeed now come naija dey drive G WAGON , na linda for put am here for LIB dey hail am so we go dey green with envy. ABI LINDA?
So sad right now why kill them, they should pls abolish that wicked law!!!
They know d law. Bt still stubborn. God rest his soul
Malaysians and Indonesians are noted for their racism against foreigners. Some of these death row inmates were wrongly accused, and some do not even get fair trials. Once you are arrested for drugs, you must die! Innocent or guilty, i just don't know why foreigners go there in the first place.
They should live alone there in their poverty and their wickedness.
All those people who say they deserved it, have you thought about a situation where you've been wrongly accused for doing drugs, or like that american woman who just shared a cab with someone possessing drugs, just being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and you have to pay with your life.
I wonder what people see living amidst this racist asian monkeys.
Too harsh! I don't believe in killing people when they didn't kill anyone. There are better punishment than killing them please. RIP to them #onelovefromsnow#
God have mercy! RIP to them. Ego di na ogwu. And why were they taking his height measurement b4 execution???
So sad right now why kill them, they should pls abolish that wicked law!!!

Life is worth nothing again to some people. Will this killing stop drug trafficking? RIP

When you are in a foreign country respect the law of the land.
Really sad
Sad
execution is a new law that not an old law, it started October 2014.If Indonesians really want to be realistic, this new law is suppose to manifest any day after the law was approved by the house and it shouldn't affect old cases.
Between since 2004 and co are those years not enough, why would they go as far as killing them, Execution is never a law to me, those people can be alive yet regret their actions.
Rest in Peace to the dead.

nIGERIA is a failed entity sndwilleverbe.
Much as I pity him, I'm sorry to say he laid his own bed. We all know that Asian nations do not joke with drugs and the death penalty is the punishment in most Asian countries for doing so. Still, my people will dare the devil and carry the drugs. I really pity his wife and kid. God rest his soul.

A big attention seeking wackob kid!
This is sad, executing them after years in jail for drug trafficking? Too harsh.
Ouch, hustlers..
Ouch, hustlers..
Please mind how you utter words to my president
My thoughts exactly.
All this drug barons ,419, yahoo-yahoo etc that bring disgrace unto our great country Nigeria should be killed and their bodies left to the voltures. Our fellow Nigerians are victimized because of others foolishness. Any woman that does not love you or hid to your advance when you have nothing is not worth being around. I am a woman and I am not married but yet I am disgusted by men who can't explain their livelihood. So now Daniel carried the drugs for the sake of his family hasn't he left them alone to suffer. Nothing good comes out of trying to beat the system. Trust in God and work hard
I think the sentence was too harsh for the crime. I do not support crime of any magnitude but capital punishment, especially firing squad seem really crude.
Your papa mccoy!!! Poor bitch
Too bad.
So, madam ese, we av turned to copycats abi? Where those executed heroes? Call the ambassador back for what? Bcos of politics we will support all manner of evil. I hope ur boyfriend or brothers are not there doing same rubbish o. U beta call them back
Ur father is a wicked man for not training u well. Its obvious he didn't teach u that d consequences of our errors may be deadly. If u are involved in such evil acts, pls 'recall' urself o so u don't end up with lethal injection
@ anon 8:21, there is a reason u r anonymous!
You DON'T COUNT!!!
@tayo tell her o.we don notice u madam juliet linda should block u sef
What a life! God please help me to be perfect today, because I need Rapture to take place already. Too many heart broken things happening.
Ese is absolutely right. I am sure malaysia wont do that to an american citizen. Besides this guy has been in jail for 10 years which is already enough punishment, and then you execute him after 10 years..Abeg even if hes not my brother the government should fight for him, its not about supporting crime its about justice and whats appropriate as punishment for a crime.
Drug offence is not good enough to get people executed that country is looking for trouble. Simply deport those citizens to thier coutries. And let them deal with their own pple however they choose. Drug offfence is "time in jail" not execution. Its not worth killing them. As most of u uninformed people are. Anyway our diplomatic arm wont do anything so why bother. You dont just kill another person's citizen just like that.
True.
respect the laws of a country, do not violate the law if we are not willing to accept the consequences
Best Regards
Indonesian
respect the laws of a country, do not violate the law if we are not willing to accept the consequences
May their soul find peace. But Why?
This country is something else! WHy snuff out lives over drug trafficking? Even capital punishment for murder is still debatable, how much more this? They're just evil.
even though i condemn in the strongest term the young man's foray into drug trafficking but i equally blame my government for not doing enough to securing his release to serve his sentence here in Nigeria. If it were a U.S or British citizen, there is no how that they will execute them. Since Indonesia can do this not minding diplomatic incidences, i will strongly recommend that all illegal indonesians in the country be deported, those guilty of crimes in the country should be adequately punished and our Ambassador recalled and their Ambassador, sent home or queried.
May I congratulate the people of Indonesia on the election of President Widodo, a leader with their interests at heart, a leader who will not pander to Western liberalism (The cause of this pandemic) in exchange for petty NGO/Aid/Charity bribes.
not sure I agree killing people is the right punishment for drug related offence.
may their soul rot in hell
An American citizen will never get a 5year jail in indonasia for drug trafficking.
Anonymous,go and carry drugs too, sebi dem dey tell u now na abuse u dey abuse.hopeless fool.
Mr Annonymous,in as much as I don't support the judgment,i would like to let you know that dis ppu know Wat dey signed up d moment dey got dia visas cos it written boldly on it the punishment for drug peddling. I implore on anyone trying to take such risks to know d consequences.dat is d law of dia land so it's beta it's bn abided by.
Dey shld abolish it so drug peddlers can ruin dia country abi?its beta u advice dos u know dat r In dis illicit trade to go and find work, else if dey r caught in all dis Asian countries na die get dem.
No! Advice who you know to carry drugs to Indonesia or Malaysia den we would know if it would stop drug peddling or not.
How I wish such laws could be passed into bill against corrupt politicians in this country. Smh... RIP poor fellow.

100% of Nigerian drug dealers are IGBO, they should be described as biafran nationals.
Nigeria is not the poorest country on earth so no excuse for poverty and hunger.
These are greedy criminals going by the code of "get rich or die trying"
Igbo people are the most endangered species in Nigeria, the ones who escape Islamic terror end up getting killed for drugs abroad.
All Igbo people in Asian are drug dealers and should be rounded up on the streets and shot.
The ones walking the streets freely have not been caught for drugs yet.
BOYCOTT Indonesia THEY ARE RUTHLESS mf LIFE HAS NO MEANING TO THEM GOD GIVES US MERCY
é lamentável pessoas sendo seduzidas , a levar drogas para outros paÃses ; depois vêm as consequências , na indonésia a pena é a morte ,e mesmo assim ás pessoas se arriscam ; as drogas é um câncer , que mata lentamente
Relatives and friends of 21 IGBO drug dealers in Indonesia who have been condemned to death, have marched to the Indonesia Embassy in Lagos to protest the death of the condemned Nigerians. According to them, about 2008 IGBOs have been killed so far in Indonesia and 21 are about to be executed too. They urged the Federal Government to intervene urgently to save the lives of their loved ones, adding that any delay to act could be dangerous.
4 IGBO drug dealers executed by firing squad recently:
1, Martin Anderson - an IGBO who had traveled to Indonesia on fake Ghana passport and incorrectly.identified as Ghanian.
2, Okwudili Oyatanze
3, Silvester Obiekwe Nwolise
4, Stephanus Jamiu Owolabi (He apprently used a mixed IGBO and Yoruba name on a fake ID, also had a fake EU passport with Raheem Agbaje.
Just confirmed, the Next batch of IGBO people to be executed by firing squad in Indonesia soon:
Kingsley Okonkwo
Michael Titus Igwe
Izuchukwu Ezioha
Ekperedike S. Olekama
Adam Wilson
Hilary K. Chinezie
Eugene Ape
Humprey Ejike
Okwudil Ayotaeze
Obinna Nwajiagu
Fredrick Luther ( Benjamin Obiora)
Sylvester Nwaolisa
Dennis Anumora
Ikenna Ezenweukwe.
Gabriel Nnadi - died in prison
Apart from the ones on death row, about 2008 IGBOS (excluding the ones killed recently) are said to have been executed in Indonesia since IGBOS started the DRUG trade there decades ago.
A death row filipino lady, Mary Jane Veloso whose case is causing international outcry was said to be a mule used by IGBO people, Donna Uche and Samuel EzeKalu.
According to Thai, Vietnam, Cambodian, Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian police, Igbo people bearing Nigerian passports are a major source of drug trafficking in Asia and are now using local girls as mules to ferry drugs abroad. Nigerian passport holders are the subject of serious scrutiny and abuse by Asian police as a result of IGBO drug dealers and human traffickers. IGBO people are apparently single handedly making it impossible for Nigerians to holiday, travel freely and conduct business due to IGBO activities.
