First Adesuwa has so much to learn from Christane Amanpour.
In this interview I saw a man with strong political will, ready to take responsibility for his actions. Not one that claims stealing is not corruption coz a certain Judge said so.

Buhari's composure, eloquence and accuracy of point were very presidential. He appeared honest and witty and very straight to the point unlike President Jonathan who is very dodgy, confused, pedestal, and uninspiring in his response to interview questions. The lag in GMB's response to Amanpour's questions was a bit slow as a result of lag in electronic to internet transmission speed. This is purely normal with voip livecast. I see hope in Buhari's serious ambition to restore Nigeria.

GEJ supporters and their shallow-mindedness. i watched the interview, buhari's responses were on point compare to Jonathan's when he was on the same programme months back.
If we all could put sentiment aside,we know Jonathan is not the right candidate to rule Nigeria for the next four years considering the situation in the country. His administration has been xterised with corruption and he is not doing anything to tackle it;he is weak and dull.
Well, one thing is to be educated and it's another thing to be intelligent.

His response was intelligent and articulate. He had a good grasp of the issues discussed and his answer to the question on his actions as a military head of state was smart. The only thing might be his accent but we all have differing individual accents. He certainly spoke better than GEJ on his previous appearances on Amanpour.
This is a man who is where he is today on account of his goodwill and not stolen wealth unlike most of our other leaders, I don't see him squandering that goodwill at his age. It is an easy choice for me. GMB will not do wonders but he will position Nigeria back on the right path, GEJ on the other hand will be the end of this country.

I am sorry but after watching Buhari on the CNN interview and the one on Aljazeera a few days ago, I decided to vote for Goodluck. It became quite obvious to me that Buhari is truly not qualified to be the leader of Nigeria. I would be embarrassed to have him speak in front of the United Nations or any other World body. It was very difficult for him to even put together a full sentence. I am convinced now that he is damp near illiterate.

Anonymous said...

Jess Christ that man is truly not qualified to speak to a classroom of children let alone represent Nigeria on the world stage!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Bhai is Boko Haram!!!! Can't you tell!!!

Anonymous said...

Of course he was reading it from a screen. And even then he came of like some ignorant half drunk idiot.

He already made us the laughing stock of the world. My friends in Australia, U.K., and the United States all sent me messages saying that they were shocked and appalled that this man was even selected as a candidate.

Anonymous said...

Yes....now we know why they did not want him to do the debates!!! God help us! This man is a huge embarrassment

Anonymous said...

And still he sounded like the village idiot

Anonymous said...

And vote in ignorant and illiterate one??? Are you out of your god damn mind??

Anonymous said...

But at least we could understand what he was saying. Buhari mumbles like a drunkard! Are you really sure he attend school??

Anonymous said...

Half dead??? This man was pulled out of the grave and someone stuck their hands up his as to make his lips move!!!

Anonymous said...

Confirmed!!! Absolutely embarrassing.

Anonymous said...

He could barely give the answers and they were written right in front of him. He is an absolute disgrace. What rock did they turn over to find this illiterate old man!

Anonymous said...

Buhari is not even capable of speaking English. How will he even communicate his directives to the people he is in charge of directing. No wonder people were killed when he was the Head of State. His instructions were not clear and nobody could understand what he told them to do. For instance..He probably to the soldiers to go a shoo the protesters away and the soldiers heard him say go and shoot the protesters! ! GOD SAVE NIGERIA

Anonymous said...

Well one you could understand clearly what the words were that were coming out of his mouth. And the other one could not even string together an entire sentence even when it was written right in front of him. So I guess at this point I will have to vote for Good luck, because at least I could understand his speech.

Anonymous said...

Keep smoking your Indian hemp and you might soon also see pink flying zebras and elephants!!!

Anonymous said...

Eloquence? ? Are you kidding me? I saw an illiterate old man that should have been at home writing his last will and testament because I seriously doubt he has to many more days where he will even wake up from his sleep. He looks like he is old enough to fart dust

Anonymous said...

I agree. He is not capable of running Nigeria. I don't know what APC was thinking when they brought this man out of his rocking chair to run for President. He might be a nice guy but he is clearly not educated enough to run the country. I was going to vote for him, but after seeing him on CNN I realizability that would be a huge mistake. "It is better to be silent and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt" - The handlers should have never let him speak on National Television. That just cost them the election.

Anonymous said...

Nah wow. ..He was really bad. I mean really bad. I thought he was educated. But now I know the truth about why they cannot find his school certificates.

Anonymous said...

I think I would rather vote for a Baboon rather than Buhari. He needs to just go back to his village and rest. Shame on APC for brining this man as the face of the party. I have a rock in my garden that appears to be more qualified to rule Nigeria than this tired illiterate old man.

Buhari's use of statistics, complimentary information and data shows that he is not SENILE as Jonathan and his cohorts wants us to believe.
Truth is, he has the "Hausa" accent but did Ammanpour complain of not been able to hear him speak?. His responses to the questions were apposite, straight on point, not beating about the bush like our supposed "ph.d" president.
My sarcastic advice is this; Vote for a man who made so much money from oil, yet could not save $1, vote for a man who allowed corruption to thrive in his time, even going as far as granting pardon to Alamieyeseigha, WHAT A SHAME!!!. GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH.

Corruption is stealing and stealing is corruption. Corruption is defined as fraudulent of dishonest behaviour. Anything that doesn't follow it's due process is corrupt

Buhari may not take us to the promised land but he will lead us out of the wilderness. I hope he wins the upcoming election. Even if he read off a screen shows he has the right people around him to give him the right answers. Not a bunch of sycophants like FFK or Okupe

Is Christina a nigerian? Is she voting? So who needs to impress her?

Enough of all these deceptions. One thing I know is that no matter what any man or entity does, God will surely defend Nigeria- God will deliver Nigeria from the hands of the haters of good and godliness.

"If you leave a goat and yam together, then goat will eat the yam. You must remove the goat from the yam to prevent corruption.....corruption is not thief, thief is thief and corruption is corruption" - February 11, 2015

Candidate 2: GMB

"Unless Nigeria kills corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria." February 11, 2015.

Question: If you are given the task of awarding PHD to any of these two based on their perspective on corruption, who shall it be?

Lol! All lies. He was reading from a teleprompter. His speech was written for him by Fayemi, Leke and the rest!

You have been shouting this up and down and replying people. Yea I noticed his eyes moving sideways too. But here's the News flash: whether he read the answers off a screen or reeled them off his brain, this man is still far more competent than Jonathan. And that is the bitter truth. It's people like you who are so ruled by sentiments and also blinded by it that keep making this country die slowly. Even Obasanjo has said that Jonathan is a mediocre leader. With his own experience as a former president, he knows the real deal and he has stated it. So please, keep quiet and go to sleep deeply.

Eloquence???? Composure?? Please I didn't understand half of what he said! Consequences of not going to school! As for his composure he looks and sounds like someone whose health is at stake! May God help NAija

Thank u Josh. His answers were not only intelligent but were lucid and drew from work already done by the legislative arm. So it's not an "I insist" situation. This guy is the real PhD, not that joker from Otuoke.
