Another Ebola case confirmed in Lagos + Sister of late PH doctor discharged
The
Special Assistant to the Minister of Health on Media and Communication, Dan
Nwomeh took to twitter to share some of the statements the minister made during a press conference held earlier
today Sept. 8th. There's a new confirmed Ebola case in Lagos and the sister of late Port Harcourt doctor, Enemoah, has been discharged. See more tweets after the cut...
Errrmmm Mr, minister have your facts right. I might not be a maths major but I defo know it hasn't been 21 days since the PH case. Stop lying to the people biko.
Biko, wat are they giving these people.Isolated today, discharged tomorrow. ...watever they are giving them, I like as long as it is working perfectly. Now dat God is helping us, america via WHO is coming close to finding a cure.Na dem sabi oooo, it is none of our business as long as we continue to use our own Naija Zmapp to treat our cases.Make dem go chop their Zmapp, God pass dem
Please Linda, can anyone confirm from the tweets of the SA to the minister where he confirmed another ebola case in Lagos? Or where is Linda got that info from?
I don tire for this virus First mama peace Then came BH And now Ebola, rumors say that d said virus is Imo state...danger times ahead I tell ya I can only wish and pray
If there are 19 comfirmed Ebola cases with 7 deaths & 10 survivors, then how come we now have only patient under treatment? Obviously, these doctors didn't do arithmetic in primary school!!!
these people are just foolish liars. How can dey say some pple in Ph have been discharged afta completing 21days surveillance. its not even up to 21days dat d PH doctor died. ur facts dont add up
Dear GOD we praise your HOLY name for this good news we're hearing. May you remove this ebola kpatakpata in our country because we carry over load already - Amen. #########OTUoCHA
These people are liars. when was the first port Harcourt case discovered? how is it possible that the people have completed 21 days surveillance when the first case was discovered less than 21 days ago?? these Port Harcourt people have no honour.
ONE SPOKESPERSON PLEASE I think the Minister of Health should be the only spokesperson on this EDV effort. I don't think a multiplicity of sources should be encouraged. This issue is too serious for that.
Thank you, Lord. Wait first o, dis sister when dem discharge so, nor be she first run go Abia state to go give other people the ebola? Now when she don well and she nor transfer the ebola to other people, is she not a happy person? Rubbish when Oluibukun Koye cause.
Nigeria is doing well in the Ebola management area. The bad thing however, is how they are announcing peoples names even while they are still under treatment. There is too much stigmatization in Nigeria. Even after they have been discharged, people will still keep them at arms length. A good case in point is the late Justina's fiancee. Please honourable minister and commissioner, all you need to say is one case isolated or discharged. You don't need to go into specifics. Allow these people to live normal lives after their discharge. It's not their fault that they got infected.
