Nigeria has no single current case of Ebola - Health Minister
Dan Nwomeh is the spokesman for the Minister of Health. And above is the man who brought Ebola to Nigeria. We've contained it...hopefully it stays that way! See more tweets after the cut...
Great! There is a warning sign of the Ebola Virus disease to all those flying out of JFK to West Africa, which I found out last nite on a trip from NYC to London .... Anyway chukwu and officials of Lagos State have shown a high level of orifessionalism and acted quick within the limits of their resources. This is commendable as highlighted by Adewale Madge-Pearce in his column in d NY times recently ..... We can also lend a hand to other West African nations in controlling this awful predicament ! And let us not forget to honour Dr Adadevoh.... Pls GEJ , rmb!
Thank God for dat.just hope d awareness doesn't die down.dey need to continue educating d public oh.Preparedness is d watchword cos next thing awareness n preventive measures wud die down
That's great news. It will stay that way as long as we all don't relent in our efforts in fighting the disease by being very cautious this time, not allowing foreigners come in without proper checkup, or even citizens travelling from one country into Nigeria. Also observing high personal hygiene and many other ways..
if there was anything i could do right now.... i will run away from this country cos non of our leaders from top to bottom in all areas dat connects the nation know what they are doin..... before you know it you'ld hear another case because they aint patient enough to investigate... dey jes wanna do sharply nd use funds for cubbing the disease to buy cars for demselves claiming they are buy hospital van......
THIS IS ALL SHIT... I REFUSE TO BELIEVE UNTILL I'M MADE TO BELIEVE!
Looking at how other countries that were affected by the Ebola Epidemic fared .... Nigerians deserve commendation starting with Dr. Ameyo, Nurse Justina, the Minister of Health and so many other "silent and unnamed" health workers that did their bit @ the lab guys, the ward attendants, those who said a prayer ... God bless you all

Linda, dont let them use you to propagate lies. How anyone can believe anythg coming from the health minister is beyond me.They embezzled money meant for ebola containment and they feel the need to give masses false hope. GOD WILL JUDGE YOU ALL.
Thank God. It is left for us to take preventive measures to avoid new cases. If you suspect any move within your enviroment, make sure you report to appropriate authority.
Liars... who made the research,on wah ground is their fact based, have dey tried trackin the pple dah came in contact with d infected ones, this one no be economic or finance or information report dey turn upside down,

Not even in Port Harcourt? Pls get your facts right.
i want to also commend the health workers who put their lives on d line to save these ones and to successfully cure them of the disease. What you all have done is commendable. A job well done.
That is same question every Nigeria citizens should be asking. Besides, only in insensitive country like naija will u see a high rank govt official like that fool health minister talking about serious issue on social network. If he want to address a nation he's serving, why not make a press conference. It is absolutely unofficial and unprofessional for him to disseminate such information on social network. Nigerians really need to learn positively from those they are copying.
Pls people, ebola is well and alive and still spreading in nigeria. Don't listen to that bastard and let ur guard down. These so called Nigerian leaders are evil.
Nigerians and their bad mouthedness & negativities, is this the best we can say ? Cant we see how other W African countries are badly hit and give commendation to those that deserves it. Welldone Prof Chukwu and his team for the great Job abeg, tribute to Late Adedevoh and the other heroes that couldnt make it.....History will alwasy remember you forever.
how come the OAU student didn't report him/herself when the min. of health asked everyone who had contract or used the hospitals Dr Enemoah was at? Just this is truly the last case of EVD.... So help Us God #Amen
Simple bcos they owned private schools with facility account in banks, that is why u saying this so government will open schools this month.......... Self centered greedy set of people. Mrs Enemuo is still in d isolation ward in Lagos likewise another Doctor in PH, with so many many under quarantine and surveilance and there u are sitting in d comfort of ur house declaring Nigeria Ebola free. I dont blame them after all, non of their children or grand children are schooling in Nigeria.
In as much i pray for this to be true, i can't rely on mere information without proper investigation and facts finding and relay it through Press conference, Twitter for me is not acceptable.
She reported and was discharged wen she tested negative. She felt sick again n decided to speak out again. Don't just stick to LIB, read online newspapers.
Seeing Patrick Sawyer and his daughter, I really feel for him. He seemed like a normal guy and a good daddy. Who also didn't deserve to catch this EVD. What a pity.
