Before you became the governor, you promised to pay students abroad their money. You are a man that is said to be very generous, but my question is if this generosity only has to do with those that can help him win election?

I heard rumours that the reason why they don't want to pay is because they can't make money from it knowing that they can't just drastically increase the number of students under their scholarship. Is that supposed to be so for a man who is supposed to be the father of the state? I really don't believe this.

I also heard that the state government will prefer to patch roads or plant flowers that people can see, in order to enhance their position in case there is an election. I want to say God sees the heart and when you genuinely work to alleviate the sufferings of the people and not just for the purpose of winning an election, then God will make things happen for you.

I also heard he doesn't want to pay because most of the people that got the scholarship are associates of former Gov Ameachi. I want to say this is an emphatic lie, out of all the present RSSB scholarship students in the UK, I think I've seen only two people that support the former Governor. In fact, how I got mine is a miracle.

Dear Mr Governor, it is getting extremely cold here in the UK. Most of your students have borrowed money from anywhere they can get it from, and are seriously trying to pay it back. Most of them don't have places for them to stay and can't even turn on the heating because they can't pay the bills.

Times like these, I wonder where our dear first lady is, because she is a mother and is supposed to feel more what pain we are going through over here. Mothers they say have more compassion.

I remember when the APC tried to distance and deny promising to pay 5 thousand Naira to unemployed youths, it was the presidents wife that came out boldly to say the party shouldn't go back on their promise. Thats how I expect mothers to act.

Please my dear governor the situation we are going through here is not something we can easily describe. The situation for your RSSB/RSSDA students is getting really serious. We are being owed for more than two years now. Some of us can't come back because it will seem that we want to abscond from paying what we owe. Others are carrying out research and the facilities are not in UST or UNIPORT.

Please our dear Governor be a father to us and help us pay this money. Most of us were excited that you will pay immediately you become the governor, especially since you were the minister of education. We felt it will be a priority for you. You are also investing in the future state by doing this.

Please we beg you in the name of the Most High God that has the power to make anything possible.

May God give you the Wisdom, Strength and Grace to do that which is right for our state.
