Graphic photos: Man gets electrocuted after trailer touches high tension cable in Isolo

A trailer driver was this morning electrocuted after his trailer touched a high tension cable at Jakande Estate, Isolo, Lagos. Didn't the Lagos state government ban them from moving during the day? May his soul rest in peace. Graphic photos of his body after the cut..

We should not wait for govt to forcefully implement this law. Citizens should come out of their cars to block the way against erring trucks. Enough is enough. Haba! It is not Gov Ambode that gets affected, it is the common man on the street so we must act.

Linda you can be really silly sometimes. What does the movement restriction have to do a low hanging high tension wire?

Stupid and insensitive comment.

Even if he traveled at night, would the wire have been removed? Anyway, God rest his soul!

Linda, I don't agree with your question of 'Didn't the Government ban them from moving during the day' The right question to ask would have been how come the cable wasn't properly placed such that the trailer made contact with it. what is the work of the PHCN team in that axis?

Even if the poor driver moved at night he would still have encountered his untimely death. if PHCN refused to be diligent in their work

Linda i was there when this happened this moring at about 7:35am. It is Jakande but not in Lekki, It is at Isolo Road. I would like to use this medium to encourage people to try to save lives where they can before considering taking pictures. I saw people pull out their phones immediately it happened and you may call me old school or petty, but it didn't look pleasant to me.

"GRAPHIC PHOTOS OF THE BODY AFTER THE CUT" There is something very wrong with this statement. Linda. You do not have to capitalize off ppls mishaps to send your family abroad. Imagine it was your relative that passed. Do you want to display their corpse online for the world to see?????????????? Pls be sensible and stop this backward caveman mentality of promoting gore like it is entertainment. it is getting disgusting!

Anonymous said...

No sympathy for him? You are a retarded fool!

Anonymous said...

I am concerned about other drivers o! is it that there is no insulation(plastic or rubber) at all in truck seats, floor, steering and pedals???? Cos if these things are there, no way you will be electrocuted like that!

He die in a very bad way. May his soul rest in peace.

Benjamin Nwosu, my sentiments exactly! He could also have been electrocuted at night.
