Summers was onboard flight medic on a medical transport plane that crashed just outside Las Cruces in new Mexico in August 2014.
Stephanie, who named her son after his father, approached Laura Gordillo, a photographer based in Arizona to have new photos with the baby.
Stephanie posed with the boy at the same locations where she recently had anniversary photos with Summers, who died when he was only 27 years old.
Gordillo edited one of the pictures to include Summers looking over his wife and child.
"Stephanie didn't think she'd have a family photo to ever hang on her wall and show her son," Gordillo told Yahoo.
"Now it's something she can show him for years to come. When she saw it, she told me she just broke down in tears."The photographer shared the photo on Facebook and says she has since received hundreds of messages from people with stories about similar photos of family members they have lost.

Too sad to lost a loved one but the Lord is her strength. Be strong and remain courageous.
