Though there has been improvement in the Nigerian Police in recent years with regards to corruption, but then, that statement by the IGP is quiet economical with the truth.
Something jst happened in my office now.A ladies bag was discovered in our parking lot, because of the security situation in the country, we called the attention of police men on duty, the asked us to stay clear of the area and called their anti bomb squad, only for the squad to ask for fuel money. There station is less than 100 meters to my office. Indeed 9ja police are not corrupt, but the IGP must be the most corrupt civil servant in Nigeria for that statement alone.
Nigerian police are the most corrupt idiots in the WORLD. This IGP is equally corrupt for him to be covering up for them. Nigerian police are useless and a nuisance to the society
