I ll make her understand d damage she has done to d wall by giving her a piece of cloth to clean it off, I know it won't work so I ll add water to it she ll try again n it won't work, I ll add detergent to it n again it won't work but rather make more mess off the wall. Then I ll ask her how she feels doing something she can't reverse. By now she should feel very guilty. I can repaint the wall later but I ll b sure she got the message n regrets her action. I wont hit her for any reason cos I did worse when I was her age.
Oh this is a must. The first time i came out of the kitchen to see my little girl had done this (with same red crayon), I was so MAD....I went and bought her a white and black board. She wrote on it for a few days then went back to the wall. She loved the wall best. My only solution was to give her a particular wall for scribbling, then I bought a can of paint and a paint brush. Once every month i paint over her 'creations' and she happily starts new art works. I had to find that middle ground.
Buy a Smart Wall Paint for her. With smart wall paint, you don't have problem with this, simply clean it up when you discover it and your wall will shine and clean. You can contact me on manshoti@gmail.com if you need one.
It's normal for kids to do this. You only caution them not to do it on the wall but on their boards/books. My son did it recently, I was mad at him but I recall I did the same as a kid.
U do nothing but paint over. My kids have done this countless times. D key is to keep. Repeating "DONT WRITE ON THE WALL" till it sinks into their brain. Lol!
Buy her a Smart Wall Paint. With this, all you need is just clean it whenever she write on the wall to leave the wall clean and shining. Contact manshoti@gmail.com if you need one. Shalom
Linda, my son (who will be 2 at the end of this month) did this a few months ago. He not only wrote on the wall, but on the furniture, computer and everything else he could reach completely ignoring his white board. Loved him d more for it!
Come and see the walls in my house, you bling once and the wall is full of the scribbles. I plan to repaint the house when my children are older...for now all my visitors shd enjoy the view and suck it in
Kids won't change, wen I was little my parents had to paint the lower part of the wall with gloss paint. But we migrated to the bathroom walls... hehehe
Children will always scribble on anytin and evrytin... Anywys, I will cain her bom bom small 1st den warn neva 2 write on d wall agan, get a board 4 her and den re-paint...

my son currently does this, he has written on almost all walls in the house, got mad at first, but now i just allow him. Bought a board, but once in a while he still does. So i have refused to paint the walls of the house for now, until he is done with his own paintings.
My 3yr old came to see me in the office just before close of work and the next day, apart from the cleaning lady, i was the first person in the office only to fine that my boy had painted the front of my boss's door with pencil just b4 we left the previous day. oh boy...com see wall scrubbing wen i begin do :)
U are all saying these harsh words because u don't have kids of ur own yet. Yes, u'll be mad but won't do anything irrational. Kids will always be kids and we did worse in our own time. U just need to explain why he or she shouldn't do it again.. Then get writing materials for him /her.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 252 of 252My son does the same. I'm reconsidering repainting the whole house, but fear is catching me, as I am sure he will keep repeating it.
I never even beat him when he does it, I just scold him and we collect the pencil or crayon he is using.

Develop her talent
The drawing on her right side looks like the backside of a woman.
This was a regular occurrence in the building I lived when I was a kid.

Ha my 5 year old daughter love doing it so much. A little flogging and repainting. Guess its one of the childhood gimmicks.
I will just give her a holy bite that will swell her cheeks

My daughter have don that in my own house two days after i painted the wall she use pencil and design the wall, when i saw it I corrected her,
Buy him a standing board and instruct him to always use it anytime he/she wants to right. If he tries it afterwards, I go flog am ni.

I go vex and tell am e no good make she no do am again . Can't beat her cause she's too young
kiss her and explain to her what she done wrong.
as it is blessing and joy being a parent
Normal beans!!
She should have been corrected much younger. Give her drawing book to continue
I will buy a learning board(chalk/pen board)for the child and caution him/her not to write on the wall again.
depends on the childs age, he would get scrubbing o.My almost 2 year old knows we only write on paper!! another surface attracts a consequence
U need to come to uk and see some of the homes here especially the ones with growing up kids . U will be amazed
Lol; my wall is exactly like that, told my son not to and after 3 times he has stopped but will have to repaint.

You have just lied!!!!! I bet you don't have kids yet..it has nothing to do with upbringing. It's just a child being a child.
my niece used to do dat alot, but buying her a chalk board made it stop....
Will give her warning not to do that again, then get her a board
