US Govt dissapointed over postponement of elections in Nigeria

The US Government has expressed disappointment over the postponement of Nigeria's general election which was announced last night by INEC chairman, Prof. Jega. Below is a statement by the US Secretary of State John Kerry posted on the US Department of State website
The United States is deeply disappointed by the decision to postpone Nigeria’s presidential election, which had been scheduled for February 14. Political interference with the Independent National Electoral Commission is unacceptable, and it is critical that the government not use security concerns as a pretext for impeding the democratic process. The international community will be watching closely as the Nigerian government prepares for elections on the newly scheduled dates.
The United States underscores the importance of ensuring that there are no further delays. As I reaffirmed when I visited Lagos last month, we support a free, transparent, and credible electoral process in Nigeria and renew our calls on all candidates, their supporters, and Nigerian citizens to maintain calm and reject election-related violence.

US government should stop instigating confusion to Nigeria. They want to do everything possible to destroy Nigeria. They are angry that our economy is growing and with time we will not be importing everything from them. Nigerians better be wise, US are still angry with GEJ's refusal to sign Gay marriage bill. We may say the US inteferes in the affairs of other countries, yes, but when it is for the good of the common man in the street , it is a welcome gesture. Since the administration of GEJ began alot has happened in Nigeria that portrayed the government as irresponsible in the eyes of the international community ,especially the west. That's why most of the world power governments have scarcely shown their approval of the present Nigerian government. Obama visited West Africa a number of times and didn't deem it fit to visit Nigeria. This is a diplomatic way to indicate lack of support for a government. Unfortunately, Nigerians are made believe that US is our foe and don't want to help Nigeria, but before staying with such misleading conclusion check again the reasons behind this position taken by the US and other western governments. The comments of many common Nigerians about the US such as "we don't need them....they can go to hell..." is laughable.
If it is true that we don't need the US, then starting from the grass roots to the top, first of all please tell ur fellow Nigerians (politicians, celebs and the rest of ur citizens) to stop flocking into the US, especially those that line up their wives to go deliver their babies in the US. If U believe in the way Nigerian system works today, then stay in Nigeria, and when U are denied entry into the US rejoice instead of lamenting.U cannot be defending a system u're not prepared to put the future of U and ur children in. The US doesn't need Nigeria, but Nigeria needs the US in many ways and can only get support if she plays by a globally acceptable rules. So please let's be reasonable.

What is the United States business with our country? The United States has a mixed race president yet the human rights of blacks is trampled upon daily. Has Nigeria ever complained about this scenario? The answer is no! The Americans supported Obasanjo a man who had a terrible human rights record including invading Odi and Zaki biam. Where were the Americans then? They refused to sell arms to reinforce the Nigerian army and are talking about elections. They support Saudi Arabia in spite of its terrible human rights record. What do the Americans want?

We longer care what USA thinks or feels about Nigeria because USA supports Boko Haram in Nigeria. A few weeks ago President Barack Obama (actually Mubarak Osama) hosted members of Muslim Brotherhood in the White House where he justified the atrocities of ISIS by comparing them with medieval Christian Crusaders. The USA Ambassador to Nigeria is RACIST Boko Haramist who not only wants Nigeria to disintegrate but millions of "black monkeys" slaughtered in the process. That is why he sabotaged Nigeria's efforts to arm her security forces adequately to crush Boko Haram.
