Rev. Fr Mbaka insists that GEJ must go...weeks after he praised and prayed for GEJ and mama peace!

Very popular Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka is currently under serious fire. Let me explain what's going on. In early November, First Lady Patience Jonathan was in Enugu to attend the 2014 Adoration Thanksgiving And Bazaar event where Fr. Mbaka prayed for her, prayed for President Jonathan and said 'GEJ has done well, despite distraction and that he must come back in 2015. You can find the video here. Fast forward to January 1st and he's singing a different tune. He's now saying 'GEJ must go!" Screaming 'we want change'.
"When the Goodluck met the Yar'adua, the Yar'adua had badluck and died. Before we knew it, when the Goodluck met our oil, our oil had bad luck and poured away. Before we knew it, Goodluck met our naira, our naira had a bad luck. Where are we going in this country, shall we continue to experience the bad luck?" He said on Jan. 1st
You can watch the video - here. So what changed between Nov. 9th 2014 and January 1st?

I never trusted Mbaka cos he is too into politics while his followers are suffering. He has nothing to offer his people, hence he blames it on GEJ.

I thought Mbaka claims to be man of God, but he can't work his miracle and and destroy Boko Haram. He claims to be miracle workers and he laments about others while he offers no "miraculous solutions."

An angel did not apear to Mbaka to change his mind. APC appeared with bags of $$$s and bought Mbaka the businessman.

Man of God in deed. how can a man of God be inciting the Government publicly like this is tantamount to treason. I m sure he must ve collected money from Apc or mama peace failed to redeeem her promises. This is seriously unexpected from a man of God. is he now a politician.? , he should allow nigerians to decide with their vote.. February is around the corner. Linda u must publishe this oooo.

Now it is APC's fault.

Y'all just can't accept the truth due to deep rooted sentiment and emotion.

Hmmmm. Nawaoh, Edna, you can not even hate. See how limited and narrow your brain can be. Politics, religion, entertainment, fashion, etc are news and they, especially politics, should be the concern of every citizen. Google is big enough for everyone so stop hating and get a life. If you detest LIB so much, do not increase your BP by reading.

In as much as we berate the performance of GEJ, and clamour for change which is necessary , I must state that what this priest did (having watched the two videos) is nothing but speaking from both sides of the mouth. Clergy men have the right to criticize bad leadership but must be unequivocal.

Notwithstanding, Nigeria needs change!

7 Things Fr. Mbaka Got Absolutely Wrong about Jonathan. During his end of the year cross over night service, Father Mbaka of Enugu State, a catholic priest started voicing support for Buhari. His audience were shocked and fell entirely silent even during the time he called for responses. The priests themselves, standing on the stage with him all folded their hands in awe as the man of God dabbled into politics.
This is a video of Buhari with a spear encouraging his followers to kill people during election. After he lost that election, youth corpers where mobbed. Then he stayed for 2 days before coming to bbc under pressure to ask his people to stop the violence.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePJSywwVWZM&feature=youtu.be
He said people should vote Buhari because Jonathan could not stop 'simple insurgency'. In reality, insurgency is not simple, no country has been able to stop insurgency once it has started. Kenya, Libya, Israel, Pakistan, Afghanistan, USA (with all their technology and sophistication), Nigeria.
Terrorism by groups of individuals who use Islam as a motivation or a mask are unstoppable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_terrorism
1. He said people should vote Buhari because we have not seen more bloodshed in the history of the nation since Boko Haram started. Statistically, boko haram has killed about 10,000 people, Biafran war was started due to a reverse on the aburi accord, it killed 2 million people, mostly civilians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War
2. He said Boko Haram started due to unemployment caused by Goodluck's administration. Well, Boko haram started in 2009 and Goodluck started ruling in 2009 as acting. So when did the unemployment start?
Actually boko haram said their aim is to implement total sharia in Nigeria. And that they are against democracy or anything from the west.
3. He said Buhari built the enugu-onitsha express way. Heheheheee! Lies! http://www.dawodu.com/buhari.htm
4. He said there is no light in Enugu, actually, its the opposite, there is almost 24 hours power supply. http://www.nairaland.com/2072516/225-hours-power-supply-ten
5. He said Buhari didn't encourage violence, lies, see the video above.
6. Then He said Buhari didn't say he will make the country ungovernable, he pointed that ciroma was the one who said it. cool .. but Buhari actually said "if i don't win in 2015, the dogs and the baboons will soak in blood"
And refused to join the team to negotiate with boko haram.
7. Fr. Mbaka said Buhari said he will islamise nigeria but didnt mean it since he didnt do it the first time he ruled.
Lol.
In 2001, Buhari said in a meeting "God willingly we will continue to push for total implementation of sharia in the country. Those who are not part of us should learn about it" .
And...Fr. Mbaka said the holy spirit told him so. smiley
Hmmm, Nwa Mbaka is on his own in this one. I wonder how much they paid him.
‪#‎teamGEJ2019‬ fee dee feeeee!
Of a truth, this will be a heated election.

You are blessed for this comment

I doubt APC gave him anything. What I suspect is bandwagon effect, switching to the side where the ovation is loudest to remain relevant, or atleast being part of a history-making side.

Go and read about Liberation theology in South America. The Catholic Church led the charge in driving out tyrants from power. You are so very ignorant. In addition the Bible is replete with stories of prophets confronting Kings and if that is not politics then I wonder what is. When there is social injustice, the church has no option than to speak up and they can tell the King or President as an oracle of God that your time is up! Father Mbaka is a Prophet under the anointing of the most high and by the grace of God he will be justified. Jonathan will go with his band of thieves!!

You are a fool. The constitution guarantees freedom of expression and therefore you can say a government is bad luck and should be voted out. What is treasonable about that? Jonathan has not performed simple! All our money has been stolen and perhaps you got some peanuts but will that guarantee the future of your children? In the Bible men of God spoke the truth to Kings, some actually telling the King his days were numbered. Reference Samuel and King Saul. So Father Mbaka is only walking in the steps of his kindred spirits in the Lord. As surely as God has spoken, Jonathan will go and in his place Buhari will give strong, accountable and corruption free leadership. IJNA.

If you say clergymen's role in the society and governance is only advisory, then ofcourse you're a stranger to the bible. If you actually use the bible you'll find your point to be false. Prophets from old to new testaments have been deeply involved even as critics of goverments in their era. eg, Elija, Micaiah....down to John de baptist in the new testament. Anyway it seems all you're familiar with are prayer books. No wonder.

Rev Fr, i respect the annointing upon you.. But i thought its high time you Left politics and face your ministry. You sound like someone that has been bribed.. GOD KNOWS THE BEST FOR THIS NATION, all we have to do is pray for Gods will to be done and not discriminate him, as if you were the one that put him there.

"In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
4 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down" (Isaiah 38:1-8). I believe this did not make Prophet Isaiah a fake.Let us all pass our comments in wisdom

really surprise this man could say this after i watched d Thanks giving prayer session late last year. I hope he isn't playing prank

And all this you know because you were there. What pains me most is the fact that Nigerians talk as if they actually witnessed what transpired. If you know who this boko haram people are, can I also assume that you had a pact with them & now you are bitter because they betrayed you or is it a case of you know them like the govt knows them but you're a coward that can only tell us who they are through the media. When we say things, let us be factual not irresponsible

Anonymous said...

You should say that is why "I am voting for continuity". Anyway, when someone's best hasn't been good enough how does he improve? When you speak of economic issues and you say there was a steady rise before the low, did you know that was OPEC's doing and the low was because America discovered an alternative which any sensible govt that had a vision would have seen before it happened and would have invested the excess in projects that would create value. A country with crude oil still has no refinery in 2015. When other countries are industrialising, we still keep talking about oil. It took Singapore roughly 25 years to move from a 3rd world nation to a developed nation and we keep talking like it takes 200 years

Let us be sincere to ourselves, open our minds and not be biased. Nigeria is for all of us and there is no religion, tribe or ethnicity that is greater than Nigeria. The spate of high level corruption, neglect, killing and abuse of public office has never reached this level in the history of this country. I voted for GEJ but I am really ashamed. Maybe it is because I visited on of the North Eastern states!

Hello aunty Linda, fall back to this post and see what Nigerians think now that the winner of the election has emerged, so many will be shut of words.
