Not sure when it happened exactly but they say it happened in Uganda and that the girl's parents had the maid arrested after the father (pictured with his kids) beat her so mercilessly that she had to be admitted in the hospital. What the maid did was so heartless! I know I'll get for hate for this, but the dad beating the maid too is wrong, you know he could have killed her in his rage and then the little girl won't have her father around too. I really do hope the little angel is alive and well. It will give us career mothers (and I guess every working parent) who undisputedly need these domestic help, some comfort.
It's unsettling to realize that u just can NOT trust people regardless of who they say they r; how well u treat or pay them. I pay my helps as well as multinationals pay tea-girls/ cleaners and like, treat them respectfully and give them liberties like family and even then still have reservations.
I have to hire an elderly person just to oversee/witness how my help treats my kids.
At this rate, women may have to clearly have to pick from the onset if we want careers or children. Or distinctly schedule one before the other as it is impossible to manage both without help. Yet age is a key factor in childbearing and career. Na wa oh.
