Gov Kwankwaso, Emir of Kano, Commission eCommerce Project in Kano state powered by eTranzact

Kano state Governor, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the Emir of Kano State, Mallam Muhammad Sanusi II and other Northern leaders, gathered at the Government ‘house in Kano state to mark what will be seen as a turning point in the history of commerce in Kano state and the Northern region of Nigeria.

Launched in collaboration with eTranzact International PLC, Africa’s leading provider of mobile banking and payments services, and Bizi Mobile, the Kano State eCommerce business improvement and empowerment project is a dream of the present administration finally coming to live, and is the first of its kind in the region.
eTranzact International PLC, owners of the PocketMoni Mobile Money service facilitates mobile banking services of 11 banks through its mobile switching platform, processes over 1 trillion Naira every year and has more than 10 years’ experience processing financial transactions in Africa. The company will be providing technology and business services that will provide an avenue for active participation of the private sector in economic development, create new job opportunities, empower the citizens and alleviate poverty in Kano state and northern Nigeria.

As part of the project, eTranzact will provide a robust e-payment platform/service that cuts across the Web, POS, Cards and Mobile payments to the good people of Kano state.

The project will kick off with a comprehensive registration of all the traders in Kano state at all levels, identifying their type of business, products, etc. Next phase will see a gradual migration of traders to e-commerce in line with State Government's drive to be the leading electronic payment/transaction State, to align with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) cashless Policy initiatives.

This solution can be specially customized for states, communities, churches, groups, etc, and opens the door to limitless possibilities. To get more information or to get a similar solution, you can fill this form here-à http://bit.ly/eTranzactFormLi
