Badagry mob victim Ifechukwudi Nwanipor laid to rest

The remains of Ifechukwudi Nwanikpor, the 24 year old who was one of two young men brutally murdered by villagers from the Tozukame community area in Ajara, Badagry on Sunday July 21, was laid to rest at the Badagry Cemetery in Lagos yesterday.

Policemen watched as both men – Nwanikpor and Kazeem Onayemi (26) were beaten and killed by the community members after being labelled armed robbers.

Mourners and family members came out in their numbers at the Badagry cemetery but couldn’t hold back their tears at the burial.

Now the Badagry community that lynched him is offering his family N2.5 million compensation. Read more on Telegraphng.com

Many of these victims are pure as innocent which calls for sober reflection. Our leaders in power shouldn't turn deafening hears to all these jungle justice. A simple speech to address this issue can move a mountain. May their souls rest in perfect peace.

Idiots. They think 2.5million can bring him back. Do they know what they've put 2 families thru and what they have to still go thru. Do they know how much being spent on him since he was a child. Imagine his dad having hopes that his son is graduating soon and starting work. Rip boy

Wat an insult, in exchange for paper, they should forgive and forget???kai! Wat the human life in nig has been reduced to. It's like any body can become a police officer. Plz they should never let this case go. These young men should not just die like that. Justice where are you been locked up in dis Nigeria....its like any youth can be killed and the murderers just go free. Plz the family must have their days in court..... #sadness

I guess its d new trend now oh
I heard on radio that d community of d aluu4 victims wants to offer compensation
My personal opinion is that after persecution d community should still pay at least N10million in compensation....that way people will stop this cuz they'll learn that after life sentence you'll still loose money

What a MUTHAFUCKING INSULT! You offer N2.5m fucking naira for a young man's life! When if you had just listened to his cries for mercy and heard his pleas..he would have been making that amount in a month as a geologist with any oil company..but instead you cut short a life you did not create. You will all rot in hell...everyone involved in the murder of these boys will never find mercy or favor from God or man. How heartless can you be? Do u ever stop while beating your victims and think, "what if this was mie?" Do you demons ever think about that? You beat 2 innocent men to death for absolutely nothing! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! May you all perish in the worst way possible. Dogs will eat your corpses like the scum demons u are. You can keep your N2.5m fucking naira..u'll be needing it when God's judgement descends upon you. #degeneratenevertodowellbastards

Some leaders are fool. Why would you defend murderers And yet you call it mistaken identity. That means you support the killing of people even when they are thieves. This is not a lawless country ,therefore they all must face justice

Wen wil Nigerian police stop bringing d country to shame. I think its better they learn not to watch when they feel incapacitated to do what they were hired to do. Remember they were there watching when bright university students were lynched and later set ab laze in d south not too long ago. Barbaric idiots
