Not only big men. The rain also dealt a deadly blow on the poor around that axis. The authority need to come in and open all the natural drain terrain

Please let's be factual, you can not fight nature. These attitude of sand filling and blocking the natural water God has created will not lead us anywhere rather the consequences will surface. Be aware more of this, more will happen,it is not a cause but the result for fighting nature. Stop pushing water or so called sand filling. Don't be deceived.Nature will takes it course.

Isn't only VGC or island in general that gets flooded during rain even Ikeja, surulere, ogba and Ojodu etc. The drainages are blocked with garbage. People should desist from this ugly act and government should clear the drainages.

Dupsy B said...

Why would people consciously litter their surroundings with dirt and garbage and expect the government to clean it up for them. Until the authority start arresting and paying of fines they won't stop. Nonsense!

Don't mind wicked Nigerians. Most of d not so buoyant ones are sympathising wit Evans cos kidnap won't affect their family. It's just their jealousy n wickedness...but d bible says I'll bless those who bless u. Wn u see someone dat is blessed bless them not curse them

Blocked drainage channels and creeks but the citizens blame the government for everything. That area has always had a problem the residents should get the estate management to sort it out why are you paying management fees and charges

Nothing special about VGC every part of this country is the same, u people should stop deceiving your self, take it or leave it the entire nation could not compare a local community in the western world, they better reason beyond today and put things right or else own generations alot of questions even when they are gone

VGC is a privately owned estate, therefore government can not fix the drains or roads within the estate. That's the job of the management
