Fashola said the last administration awarded 206 road contracts worth about N2 tillion which have not been paid for.
He said that roads that are of great economic value such as the Lagos-Ibadan expressway where important items such as Fuel or Food are to be transported to all parts of the country, are of topmost importance to the government.
He stated:
“What we have done was first to say that we would not award any new road contract. We would deal with the over 206 roads that have been awarded but not funded for over three years.”

Yet an honourable man like Babatunde Raji Fashola said, "for three (3) years, 206 roads contract were awarded by the previous administration worth over 2 trillion,". Some one said, he used to like him until he joined wronged party. which one is wrong party? How will you feel, when some one refers to that your PDP Party has wrong party? It is a shame that you do not even trust yourself talk less trusting another person. The truth must be told.
