President Buhari praises former president Jonathan at AU Summit

President Buhari has again acknowledged the role played by former president Jonathan in midwifing a peaceful and successful transition programme in the country. He said this on Sunday in his address to the AU Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.
“I cannot fail to acknowledge the very positive role played by my predecessor, President Goodluck Jonathan, in averting the feared crisis, and in facilitating the peaceful transition of power between the two parties."
Buhari reiterated that the process, which was adjudged as the fairest and most credible in the history of elections in Nigeria, was midwifed by the dogged and sustained determination of the Nigerian people, and their desire to deepen democracy. (NAN)

Story story!
Why is it that he has never acknowledged defeat in all his elections? He will prefer to call out his hausa fulani to slaughter innocent men, women and children slaughtered by his hausa fulani brothers.

Conceding defeat is only good if you are declared the winner.

I pray he meant it

If Buhari had done the same in 2011, the innocent people that his aboki boys killed would have been alive today. God will judge you for all the people you have killed.

You have already posted something similar.I had no doubt that your hero is a good man.But I still maintain that he isn't leader material.it takes more than he has to give.not every person can be a leader and not everyone can be a good follower, its what it is.

GEJ my hero

I love PMB for one thing, his lavish and courageous expression of gratitude to his predecessor. There may have been a lot of short-falls in the previous administration over the years, but the positive actions of GEJ during and after the elections has really put him in good place in our National history. Posterity will surely judge him fairly. My own opinion though.

Praises well deserved. Only God knows how many lives Jonathan just saved by that singular act. Including yours and mine. GEJ is a great man... take it or leave it.

Keep quiet, he wanted to act foolish , but God hijacked his mind at the last minute. I would rather praise God for intervening.

Wondering though, if GEJ had won the election would you President Buhari have accepted defeat for sake of peace or as usual encouraged your 'boys' to unleashed hell on innocent Nigerians?
