Photos of made in Nigeria drones and gunboats

This Gulma tactical drone pictured above was solely constructed and built by Nigeria's Airforce Institute of Technology. The drones come with Singapore Technologies Kinetics CIS-50 12.7mm heavy machine guns. The Picture after the cut shows Made-in Nigeria Modant Marine MM90E estuarine gunboats of the Nigerian Army Amphibious Forces in the Niger Delta.

Shame on you. Nigerians should learn to appreciate their own, which one have you created? If the tittle reads made in America drones u'll be the first to say woah. If we don't start now then when. I am so disappointed in you.

This is really encouraging. Is high time Nigeria embraced local manufacturing of technology. Electronics and robotics. This will go ao long to move this country forward if the government will give It the seriousness that it deserves. Nigeria can learn from India .

GEJ started the idea of made in Nigerian cars, gun boats etc. His intention was to reduce the importation of everything from the western countries, and that idea wasn't cool with the US and UK because they see Nigeria as their dump site. I just hope Buhari will be sensible enough to continue in the innovative idea of GEJ. Buhari better stop travelling and start working, this is not time for cow rearing.

Really... You must be a fool to say that. If only you know how much time and effort put into it. How can we progress as a country if we don't appreciate and encourage indigenous technology or made in Nigeria items.

I'd be surprised if the drones takes off. Can they use these stone age gun boats to fight any civilized army? Even boko haram have superior weapons. They should go eat ogbonor and iseawu.

The beginning of great things to come from Naijas technological & manufacturing prowess. This was how China started and look @ them today.

It is not too wise for our military to display the specs of their equipments ...we loose the surprise advantage and the enemies put up a better defense no wonder we ain't winning the war on terror nevertheless Good job NAF. #GodBlessNigeria #CaptainNigeria

Cheap drones are still relatively new, and they're hard to find even in hobby shops.
