Nigerians groan as transport fare is doubled due to persistent fuel scarcity

Nigerians are still feeling the bite of the persistent fuel scarcity as transportation fare for most public transport have been doubled and in some cases tripled. In Lagos, a LIB reader said he paid N400 to Oshodi from Mile 2 which normally will cost him just N100. Nigerians working on the Island this morning paid N500 from Ogba to CMS which normally will cost them N150-N200. In many cases, there are no buses to take them to their destinations.

We can help but remain hopeful, Nigeria seems on autopilot till May 29th.
I'm optimistic because it gets this difficult when the solution is on sight.

Its as if GEJ and his crew are trying to purnish Nigerians for voting him out! Why at time? Why hasn't he said anything? God is watching and will pay them in their own coin.

Wonder when this nonsense of fuel scarcity will stop. To fuel your car is problem, to enter public transport is worse. Maybe will end up trekking.

This is what we will remember jonathan for.he,s so bitter that Nigerians voted him out that's why he,s being so wicked and mean to Nigerians. That kpomo mouth they call Ngozi Okonjo. Iweala has vowed not to pay the marketers.God will judge all of them.

Anonymous said...

Trippled!!!! This is really crazy. Can NLC stop the threat and take a decision like now! I don't mind trekking back home.

Anonymous said...

The issue of not fixing our refinery is due to corruption.to make money from the marketers and embezzle money too.at least repair one or two refineries or build more.Nigeria can afford it

Lol royalhouseboy your hussle ehn....

Jonathan is full of bitterness and anger.because he lost the election, secondly because the ppl sorrunding him messed him up big time, but he caused it.when you re married to a cow that controls you.the worst first Lady in the history of Nigeria.

Jona & his cohorts, I won't curse una but let the suffering of the common man stand against una before God. Linda take note!

Seriously, can"t people learn, stay in your house everybody. When nobody works for them they will release the fuel where they kept it.
