On December 18th 2013, BBA winner and actress Karen Igho announced that she had cancer. She left Nigeria shortly afterwards to the UK for treatment. She took to twitter this afternoon to announce that she's cancer free. We thank God.
I thank God for her, cos its not what any woman shld have at all. Then as U have acknowledged that God have given u a second chance, pls use it and live ur life for him and keep giving him thanks and repent from ur sins.

I doubt she had cancer. Two months is too short to go through all the treatment. If she had surgery to remove any lumps, she would have also needed chemotherapy or radiation. She would have lost some, if not all of her hair! I know several people who have undergone chemo, and it's like poison in the body, it makes one very very dark in complexion. It drains and takes a lot out of them. It's a whole lot to get through, so to come out after just 2months looking as fab and healthy as she does, then it couldn't have been cancer at all. Most probably just a cancer scare!

For karen to have chemo they would have to remove her implants before the treatment. That means she would have needed time to heal before commencing the treatment, then the chemo and then a surgery to put the implants back... 2 months just don't make any sense. She may have had a cyst or a benign tumor but this lady surely had no cancer.
That she is cancer free does not mean she is cured. It simply means that every "detectable" trace of cancer has been removed. She is probably in remission. The longer that you can go without cancer rearing back it's ugly head, the morelikely it is that you have been cured. Usually most people do not announce they have been cured until after 5 years with no additional incidents of cancer. She is in a "wait and see" situation.

And all of you getting sentimental heren throwing curses around, go and google only breast cancer, symptoms n treatment n see for yourselves exactly what breast cancer is that even the smallest cancerous tumor in the breast takes months of chemo after surgery to manage to curtail. Even then, there is the possibility that its still there. My Aunty died of breast cancer! So Karen, if you cannot produce evidence of cancer diagnosis n treatment that took care of it in just two months, please be quiet and have respect for actual cancer victim.

For karen to have chemo they would have to remove her implants before the treatment. That means she would have needed time to heal before commencing the treatment, then the chemo and then a surgery to put the implants back... 2 months just don't make any sense. She may have had a cyst or a benign tumor but this lady surely had no cancer.

That she is cancer free does not mean she is cured. It simply means that every "detectable" trace of cancer has been removed. She is probably in remission. The longer that you can go without cancer rearing back it's ugly head, the morelikely it is that you have been cured. Usually most people do not announce they have been cured until after 5 years with no additional incidents of cancer. She is in a "wait and see" situation.
