The ancient town of Ijebu Ode came
alive over the weekend, Jan 25, 2014 as many dignitaries, prominent sons and
daughters and people of Ijebu kingdom defied the scourging sun to honour their
son, Hon. Dayo Bush Alebiosu who was being conferred the
chieftancy title of ‘Otunba Fuwagbuyi of Ijebuland’ by His Royal Majesty Oba
Sikiru Adetona, The Awujale of Ijebu land. Continue...
The honour was in recognition of Hon. Bush’s
contribution to the development of his community and his achievements in the
HOA as the Chairman House Committee of Treaties and agreement. Hon. Dayo Bush
recently sponsored the #AirpassengersRights Bill.
Notable face at the event included, Former deputy
Gov of Lagos state, Femi Pedro, Hon. Demeji BAnkole, Hon. Abike Dabiri, Chief
Olusegun Osoba, Sen. Oloruninbe Mamowora, Sen Ganiu Solomon, Otumba Subomi
Balogun and many others.
DBA as he is fondly called will now be referred to
as Hon. Otunba Dayo Bush Alebiosu.
