Well as much as he ddnt need to talk about his ex(s), the man stated the truth about the way most igbos behave. Half of what igbos get and do here,no tribe can do it in their own place. i am not a fan of fani kayode. but after reading his opinion. even though i do not totally agree on all that he said. i am glad he wrote it. it is true that the yorubas especially us in lagos have always been accomodating of people of other tribes. and i have always noticed how the igbos always cry wolf for every thing. and it is even more evident that the igbos are more tribalistic than most other tribes. also after reading chimamandas book. i couldnt help but notice how one sided that story was. and i am very glad that someone from another tribe has come to talk about the civil war issues. so we youths know exactly what it is that really happened. as of now i have nothing against the igbos or people of any other tribe. i just hope and wish that we nigerians can be one. also can a yoruba person or an edo person or some one from another tribe do some research and write about the civil war. we the youths really need to have a real understanding of what happened

Point of note: history has it that the yoruba people started development centuries before the igbos invaded Lagos. The oyo empire had existed far back as the 15thcentury with ddevelopment of craft surpassing that of the origin in ife. Benin and yoruba history dates far back. This does not in any way belittle the Igbo history.
