The Lagos state police command have apprehended 84 illegal migrants shipped into the state from the same border in Badagry.
According
to the state commissioner of Police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, 'they
claimed to be on their way to Gabon but they were apprehended while they
were being moved into another vehicle in Lagos. They'll be transferred
to the immigration for further action'.
One
of the suspects who mostly spoke French Language, Mumuni Guene had an
exclusive chat with LIB saying he's a 28 year old painter and they are
all from Burkina Faso and were on their way to Gabon in search of
greener pastures.
