Musa, from Gwoza, Borno State was among more than 6,000 displaced families that received mattresses, blankets, pots and other essentials household items donated by the govt of Germany.
Speaking to IOM Nigeria, Musa narrated how he left his belongings and aged father behind and fled his town three years ago to avoid being forcibly recruited by Boko Haram group.

"For 3 years, I 've had no news about my father or my belongings." he said. "These things will really help us. Maybe I 'll even start cooking" he added.
