The man identified as Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike coincidentally has the same surname as the criminal and is also from Nnewi, just like Chukwumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, hence the mistaken identity.
Since the arrest of Chukwumeme Onwuamadike, Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike, who is from Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi but resides in Angola, has reportedly been jubilating at having his reputation cleared.

This just means the agents had more information from the onset. They just chose not to act on it. Because for people to have chosen a picture of someone with the same name, then they definitely had a lot of info on Evans. And they let him kill so many people and made peoples lives miserable before they captured him. Sad
