Speaker of the House of Representative and APC
Governorship candidate for Sokoto state, Aminu Tambuwal, has been
declared winner of the Sokoto state Governorship election. He pulled a
total of 647,609 votes to clinch victory from his main contender,
Senator Abdallah Wali of the PDP who pulled a total of 269,074 votes.
