The President of the Association, Osahon Enabulele, while speaking on the call off said;
"NMA wishes to inform the general public that doctors in the public health sector will resume services from December 23. This is in line with our earlier promise to give prime consideration to the Yuletide season in the prosecution of our warning strike. Also, to give another opportunity for the Federal Government to concretely resolve all the demands of NMA for which it first issued a 21-day ultimatum on September 2"Mr Enabulele however said that a full blown strike would be embarked upon by the association from January 6th 2014 if their demands are not met by the Federal Government.

Hmmmm, I just hope their voice has been heard.
Halleluyah! I pray the FG address their issue now to prevent further strikes..
for me no need.
As always, the FG will begin dialogue after 2 months and will probably say that the Doctors are out to de-stabilise his govt.

Hmmm na dis country doctors dey on strike, God y u create me for dis country sef?
It pains me that am related to enabulele, ( ˘̶̀˘̯˘̶́) striking for unjustified reasons!(⌣̯̀⌣́) Na human lives be dis oh!(._. )
Thank God they stopped!
We shud bear in mind dat we all re responsible for our actions Mser
Na dem sabi jare
people asking where conscience is... its buried in starvation.
ASUU gets what they want, niger/delta gets what they want, even boko haram gets what they want from FG as far as money.
But people who u leave the care of ur lives with, you want them to not ask what they deserve? Nigerian ppl be acting like no-brainers. Some say they are not important ppl in the society and hospital functions without them. some said oath they took... really? how long will u work for under ridiculous circumstances.
these are people with children who go to school. they also have cell phone, nepa etc to pay for. So yea, desperate measures sometimes. Highly unfortunate those who will suffer as a result but how can the person who will treat u be thinking about how he will feed his own family or how his daughter cannot go to decent schools after those yrs of education and commitment to service...
Imagine! They even hv d guts to go on strike in d 1st place. How can peepz with d gift of saving lives go on strike? Is tht hw it's done in other places? If so we shldn't emulate them. Or else, bby d time u carry out ur threats and go on strike, then peepz lives are at stake, u will pay for it. By then, dnt go and start crying when calamities befall u peeps saying it's ur enemies or ur villagers.
Mtchew!!!
Good news...
Good for everybody...
