He went to prisons at age 22, so, he really needs Gowon for his rehabilitation and reintegration process but he should not come and create a scene in an already peaceful family of the Gowons. Musa Gowon and I grew up together as close friends. I always laughed when I subsequently saw the claims by Gen Gowon that Musa is not his son, because Musa is carbon copy of Gen Gowon and had his father's gentle nature. Musa was a guy with a good heart when we were teenagers. I don't know what must have led to the drugs matter in the US but I googled and read the full report on the internet. I hurt so much when I read the news but was happy to see that President Obama pardoned him. Because of Gen Gowon's claims that Musa is not his son I lost respect for him (General Gowon) as a person. Musa and I lost touch when he went to the US and eventually served about 25 years in prison for drug-related charges. This news was also carried in Linda Ikeji's blog. Musa lived with his mum when he and I were friends. I will not say more. I will ask Gen Gowon to go to God and do the needful now that the DNA test is out.
